Accommodation: Stay at The White House of Zanzibar, our friendly hostel with a pool, restaurant, and plenty of common areas for relaxation. Rooms are spacious with private bathrooms, and volunteers share rooms for a more social experience. WiFi is provided for staying connected.

About Program

Our volunteer program in Paje, Zanzibar, offers impactful volunteer opportunities in Africa, focusing on early childhood education and development in low-income communities. Many families in this region face challenges in accessing quality education, limiting their children's future prospects. Our initiative aims to fill this gap by providing nurturing childcare and quality education in a safe environment.

As a volunteer, you will work alongside local educators at a pre-primary school, supporting the physical, cognitive, and emotional development of children. You'll engage in activities, assist with literacy and math lessons, and promote play-based learning.

Located in the beautiful coastal village of Paje, the school is within walking distance from your hostel. You'll collaborate closely with local staff, benefiting from ongoing guidance and support throughout your placement. Bring a compassionate attitude and a readiness to connect with children from diverse backgrounds.
