Zanzibar Internship and Volunteering Organization (ZIVO) connects international students, graduates, and volunteers with meaningful opportunities across Zanzibar. We collaborate with local NGOs, schools, healthcare facilities, community projects, and businesses to provide impactful internships and volunteer placements that promote cultural exchange and sustainable development.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. Program Impact
Volunteers will make a direct, hands-on impact by working alongside local communities and organizations. Depending on the program, this includes:
• Teaching English and other subjects to children and adults in underserved schools
• Supporting wildlife conservation and environmental restoration projects
• Assisting with community development, health education, and sustainable agriculture initiatives
• Helping local NGOs with administrative tasks, event organization, and capacity building
