If you are thinking about what to do during a Gap year or want to get out of the rat-race for a while then consider volunteering at the Fr. Ray Foundation.
Volunteering abroad is the opportunity of a lifetime, and volunteers are essential to our continuing work here in Thailand.
The work schedule varies each day with the volunteers working at all our projects; teaching English at the Vocational School for the Disabled, accompanying the blind students on a trip to the beach or teaching them English, daily walks with the elderly, spending time with the street kids at the Drop-In Center, arts and crafts at the Children’s Village to name just a few activities that the volunteers take part in.
If you have six months to spare, volunteer with us and you will have memories that will last a lifetime.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger.
