Opportunities to Volunteer with Children in Uganda
About Program
Peace for Paul is always looking for volunteers and we have volunteer opportunities both in Uganda and in the United States. If you are interested in volunteering your time with Peace for Paul, please send us an email at: hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org.
Volunteers are welcome to stay in the Uganda based Peace for Paul home and to spend time with the children during their school holiday. Volunteer assignments will vary, but will include teaching in the home with the kids, trips into the slums to visit living family members of our children, volunteer at Doctor Mufumba’s clinic; the list goes on and on.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. Uganda's travel activities are centered around their natural beauty in the forms of wildlife and landscape. The most popular things to do here are safaris for the elusive Mountain Gorillas, visits to the source of the Nile, site-seeing at the Murchison Falls, and outdoor activities at Lake Bunyonyi.
