Impact

Sustainability

At INTRO our commitment to a sustainable future is a key principle, and the driving force behind our Small Change initiative, which we launched in 2017.

As part of our goal to make a real positive impact to the environment, we partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects in 2019 to plant 10 trees for every booking we received. And as a result we’ve planted tens of thousands of trees, aided reforestation, rehabilitated wildlife and reduced poverty in multiple local communities.

However we wanted to go even further and achieve true sustainability, so in late 2023 we began a new partnership with Path Net Zero to accurately measure our tours emissions, and Veritree to plant trees to offset those emissions.

We are now very proud to say that every INTRO tour is 100% carbon neutral.

Best trip with Tola

Such a lovely group with an amazing guide for Cambodia.
Thank you to Tola for being the best guide ever, I loved that trip.
Some of my favourites visits are the floating village, the temples and the snorkelling. All of the accommodation were comfortable and in a good location - i particularly like koh rong island bungalow owned by chief of the village. I was so happy that when I arrived at the airport I was greeted by a personal driver - I would say the transport was smooth and hassle free. CAMBODIA 4 EVER <333

19th May Intro Trip

I have loved these last 10 days in Cambodia and can only thank my tour guide Tola for that, he has been so supportive, knowledgeable and open with his own experiences & culture. Tola makes it so comfortable to approach him and can ask him anything without feeling uncomfortable, has definitely made me feel more connected to Cambodia. Tola wasn’t just a tour guide but was our friend, would not have wanted anyone else to be our tour guide, made it very easy for us to chill and fully enjoy every single part of our trip.

Thank you Tola :)

Amazing 10 day tour in Cambodia with Tola

I enjoyed the 10 day tour through Cambodia with Tola. I feel that I learnt a lot about cambodia life, culture and history through Tola and other guides on tour. I particularly enjoyed my time on Koh rong Island and Angkor Wat tour. I especially loved swimming in the sunset on the boat tour on Day 5 - a moment for life. I cannot fault any of the tour. Definitely recommend.

Amazing trip and amazing group leader!!

Elliot was an amazing group leader! Literally couldn’t have asked for anything more from a group leader he went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had the best time. He was very organised and always ready to help with anything we needed. I always felt well informed before every activity what to expect and what I needed which meant I felt relaxed throughout. At the same time as being organised Elliot was also so much fun and always made sure the vibes were up! He made sure the experience was memorable for everyone. Cambodia was a beautiful country, would highly recommend this trip!

Cambodia 9 day tour

Absolutely beautiful country! Massive thanks to our group leader Theresa who took us to some really cool spots along the way - I would recommend Intro for anyone wanting to do solo travelling, the tour is compact and feels like a holiday as you’re able to relax and not worry about planning

With such an upsetting history you could forgive Cambodian people for having a pessimistic outlook on life but in general they are so friendly, welcoming and positive

Glad I was able to tick off some bucket list activities with the help of Intro and make some lasting connections with fellow travellers

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?
Grasshoppers, beetles and durian fruit (which tastes better than it smells!)
Pros
  • Great tour leader and group
  • Friendly and welcoming locals
  • Snorkelling on Koh Rong Sanloem
Cons
  • It didn’t last longer

Cambodia 9 day trip

Absolutely beautiful country! The people, culture, scenery, architecture and food are all outstanding (if you know where to look) - with such a deeply upsetting history you could forgive Cambodian people for having a pessimistic outlook on life but generally they are so friendly, welcoming and positive!

Glad I was able to experience some bucket list activities with the help of Intro and make some lasting connections with fellow travellers! I didn’t have long but the tour is compact and feels more like a holiday as I was able to relax and not worry about planning.

Massive thanks to our group leader Theresa who I know worked hard to make our tour feel effortless and took us to some really cool spots along the way - I would recommend Intro for anyone wanting to do solo travelling, especially if time constraints are an issue and you want to fit lots in.

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?
Grasshoppers, beetles and durian fruit, which I was expecting to be awful from what I’d been told but it tasted pretty good!
Pros
  • Great cafes and restaurants visited
  • Snorkelling on Koh Rong Sanloem was amazing
  • Very good mix of historical activities as well as rest and relaxation
Cons
  • Lots of travel in minivans, buses and trains in very hot weather
  • Would have liked to spend more time in Siem Reap
  • It didn’t last longer!
