Over the course of this semester-length, French language-based program in Paris, receive academic credit via a mix of APA and local university classes and professional hands-on experience.
Centered around the Capstone Project, participants are split into small teams and assigned to one of APA's partner businesses or non-profits where they are presented with a current scenario affecting the organization. From kickoff to prototyping, each week centers around hitting a milestone in the Design Thinking methodology to achieve a solution to the issue at hand. At the end of the program, each team will present its project. Students schedules are complemented with one common course (Design Thinking for Global Challenges), choice of APA elective, and choice of elective at a Paris university partner.
Additionally, participants receive personalized mentoring and one-on-one French language support each week. Cultural activities and housing options included.
