When people ask about my study abroad experience with Forum-Nexus I tell them that it was truly the best summer of my life. When looking into studying abroad program I wanted one with a strong community, interesting classes, the ability to travel and one where people made good friends. This program provided those and so much more! The people I met are people I will be friends with forever, the places we go are spectacular and the memories are unforgettable. This trip was the perfect balance of education and fun. The staff are professional and experienced which made being half way across the world very comfortable. Overall, Forum-Nexus provides a study abroad experience like no other. If I could do this program every summer for the rest of my life I would. 10/10 would recommend!

Why did you decide to study abroad with Forum Nexus?

Jasmine: I decided to study abroad with Forum Nexus because it fit perfectly with my winter break; thus not needing to miss any school and stay on track for graduation. It was affordable and really a bang for your buck since you get to visit many countries in a short span of time.

What made your study abroad experience unique and special?

Jasmine: What made my experience special and unique, I have stated in my testimonial below but a great thing is that I am still in touch with some of the other students in the program years later!

If you could study abroad again, where would you go?

Jasmine: If I could study abroad again, I would like to go to either Asia or Central America. Asia because I would like to learn more about my culture since I am part Chinese and part Puerto Rican. I would like to visit Central America because I would like to perfect my Spanish language skills and I have not visited Central America before.

How does your study abroad experience fit into your career goals?

Jasmine: Studying Abroad fits in with my career goals overall because I want to be well-rounded and graduating with a Business degree, I learned that in business you need to be cross culturally smart because this a increasingly global business world. I also reflect a lot back to my experience when meeting different people from other countries and remember to be patient.
