About Program

Our next session starts on April 22nd, 2025! Apply Today! Our Virtual Impact Program connects volunteers from across the globe with students throughout Latin America, who attend our after-school Virtual English Academy free of charge. Applications are now open for our Virtual Volunteer English Teacher position to serve young students enrolled in our Virtual English Academy. This position is ideal if you are taking a gap year. Learn teaching and leadership skills while gaining education experience and making a lifetime impact on young students throughout Latin America. You’ll connect 5 days a week for a weekly total of 12 hours of virtual service-learning to provide our students with English instruction and enrichment and inspire them to create opportunities for their futures. Upon successfully completing a volunteer session, Outreach360 will grant you a certificate of service.

As a virtual English teacher for Outreach360, I had the amazing opportunity to work directly with students from many countries in Latin America via Zoom! Being able to authentically connect with students virtually was inspiring, fun, and incredibly memorable. As a teacher for Outreach360, I was shown immense support, kindness, and encouragement by my fellow teachers and other leaders within the organization. Each day of teaching was filled with excitement for learning and growth, engaging lessons, and purposeful content that further developed students' English language skills and knowledge.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

To future Outreach360 teachers, do not be afraid of not being a "good enough teacher" for your students. It is simply not true. You, and only you, have unique ideas, skills, and traits that will better your students' experience, learning, and growth.
