Gap year programs combine travel, Spanish, community service, and skill building courses. You have weekends free, and a 2-week break to organize extra treks, tours, and beach time. All gap year participants receive the following services as part of the program:

– Airport pick-up
– Safety orientation and walking tour
– Host family accommodations (shared room)
– Breakfast and dinner, 7 days/week
– 3 to 4 hours/day community service
– 2 hours/day Spanish language classes

I did a gap year with Maximo where I stayed here for 6 months and did pretty much EVERYTHING they had to offer including Spanish classes and TEFL certification. I had a blast! My host family was super nice and accommodating. The staff was very helpful and FLEXIBLE. They allowed me to change activities in my gap year so I could have the best experience possible. Overall, I think my gap year was a great value and I got everything i wanted out of it .

maximo has changed my life for the beter in a substantal way and i would not rade it for the world they projects i have been to because of maximo have changed the way i look at the world and the people in it thank you maximo
