If you want to really experience Spanish culture and be right in the middle of all the madness, then Running of the Bulls is the festival for you.

Join the Stoke Travel team from the 5th - 15th July for this legendary festival in Pamplona, Northern Spain, and get amongst the locals for this long-running tradition - not for the fainthearted or slow paced! The festival is not just about running for dear life, it’s one of the biggest street parties in the world where you can drink and dance with locals and travellers alike, and experience different cultural events daily. Plus join us from July 7-8 for our very own music and cultural event Stoked in the Park!

At Stoke Travel we know no two travellers are alike, that is why we have many different options to tailor make your trip. Choose from meeting us there, with us from Barcelona, or San Sebastian, adding a surf experience or listening to some live music at BBK festival.

BEST WAY TO EXPERIENCE THE FAMOUS PAMPLONA FESTIVAL

I have always wanted to be in Pamplona for this crazy Spanish tradition and Stoke Travel was the best choice! It was so much fun to stay at the campsite with so many international people and party with them. I was travelling solo and I met amazing friends. The staff was friendly and put an extra effort in making sure that everyone was having their best time!
I higly recommend travelling with Stoke Travel and I will defnitely sign up for the other Spanish festivals, see you in San Vino and Tomatina!

Intense lifetime experience

It was intense! Stoke did an incredible job by entertaining us the whole time we were there. We were never missing information or help, always someone there to give advice or put a drink in your hands. Tents were a little small for two persons, but sleeping was just a minor matter anyway. The run was a blast, a bit scary but a lifetime experience! This was so much more than just the bulls run. I met lots of great people from all different countries and had enjoyed the unlimited beer and sangria!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Don't expect a quiet place where you can sleep and rest a lot. This campsite is made for parties and fun! Try to enjoy any minute, because this will be a once in a lifetime experience.

Awesome time at San Fermin

Stoke really knows how to do San Fermin!!!! Went there a few weeks ago with a group of friends, and I can honestly say that I had the time of my life. I was on the 24 hour trip, so I didn't get to see the campsite, which I regret as I've heard good things about their festival 'Stoked in the Park'. The city of Pamplona itself was absolutely insane- parties began from 10am in the morning on every street. I've never seen anything like it before. Definitely a must-see if you ever plan on heading over to Spain.

What would you improve about this program?
The bus was a little chilly, but otherwise no major improvements that I can think of.

A real spanish fiesta

I went to running of the bulls with Stoke Travel last year, and I had a really good time. I went with a friend of mine, and we met a lot of fun people. We were just the 2 of us, so it was really nice that we created a big group of people we spend the weekend with.

The company has a unlimited booze option which i highly recommend, its just 10 euros and you can have some drinks on the camp site before you leave. In that way you can save some money on the drinks, because lets be realistic, it's always pretty expensive at those kind of events.

The only thing that i didn't like is that it was bloody hot, but it is July so it's pretty normal, but make sure you take summery clothes that can get wet.

Over all I had a really good time, and I will go this year again for sure.

What would you improve about this program?
They could come up with something to keep the tents a bit cooler.

San Fermin Festival

At first I was a little afraid the San Fermin Festival (Running of the Bulls) was not my thing so I had a few questions about it. On the internet I found a travel company called Stoke Travel who arrange transport from Barcelona to San Fermin. Also I saw they have a campsite at the festival. This makes me think they had enough experience with Running of the Bulls and are able to answer my questions.

The answers where really positive so I had no doubts anymore to book my trip to San Fermin with them. I had so much fun!! I met so many open-minded travellers, partied a lot and the food was amazing. On the campsite of Stoke there was a personal chef who makes delicious food.

I would recommend you to go to San Fermin with these fun and cool people. Even when you on your own, you have the best time and never feel alone.

Aidan, tell us about yourself.

I'm a college student from the US, currently studying marketing and brand management. I went to Barcelona, Spain for the summer to complete an internship with Stoke Travel focused on social media management and online marketing.

What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is a whirlwind trip I took to the north of Spain in the beginning of my internship. Stoke Travel encouraged me to check out a few of their products so that I could learn more about what I would be marketing later on in the summer, and to just have a great time!

During the 10 days, I was able to check out the San Sebastian Surf House, the Zarautz mobile surf camp, and Running of the Bulls in Pamplona.

Throughout this time, I stayed at different Stoke accommodations, meet the hard working and incredible festival/surf crew, and really came to understand what makes Stoke Travel a truly unique events and travel company.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I think the biggest growth I've had since starting to work for this company has been my confidence and the practical application of my studies.

Being in university is great because I learned all of the theory and practice modules about the field of marketing and branding. But, actually working in the office and completing marketing goals has given me a much better understanding of my field, the tools and programs that I'll be using in future jobs, and what a career in marketing and brand management would actually look like.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

If I could go on any of the programs it would be Morocco Magic Week. Morocco has always been a massive travel destination of mine, and the surf breaks that the Morocco house is located in front of is considered one of the best in the entire country.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

I think what makes the company unique is the camaraderie and dedication the employees have to the company. In a lot of jobs, people come in to work purely because of the paycheck, career trajectory, benefits, etc.

At Stoke, it feels like people come to work because they believe in the vision of the company, they're surrounded by friends, and ultimately they have a great time.

I was especially proud of the company during and directly after the Running of the Bulls festival. Although the festival crew was a bit understaffed and overbooked, they pulled through incredibly and worked unbelievably hard.

The office crew did everything they could to assist, provide customer service to anyone with an issue, and keep the company running in a forward and positive direction.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I think the biggest factor in being a successful company is understanding exactly what service and niche the products provide and staying true to the original vision of the company.

Stoke Travel works because they are not a typical travel company. They don't provide a hard itinerary full of sight seeing, they don't have tour guides working just because they're getting paid to do it, and they try to make the separation between customer and employee as small as possible.

The whole idea of Stoke is to make the trips feel like you're going on a holiday with all of your friends, and even at current events with thousands of people attending a night, they still get that same feeling.
