At INTRO our commitment to a sustainable future is a key principle, and the driving force behind our Small Change initiative, which we launched in 2017.

As part of our goal to make a real positive impact to the environment, we partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects in 2019 to plant 10 trees for every booking we received. And as a result we’ve planted tens of thousands of trees, aided reforestation, rehabilitated wildlife and reduced poverty in multiple local communities.

However we wanted to go even further and achieve true sustainability, so in late 2023 we began a new partnership with Path Net Zero to accurately measure our tours emissions, and Veritree to plant trees to offset those emissions.

We are now very proud to say that every INTRO tour is 100% carbon neutral.

Trip of a lifetime

From day one it has been such an awesome trip, the group was warmly welcomed by our leader and made the experience very comfortable. It was incredibly organised and each day went seamlessly into the next, the leader was so much fun yet still professional.

The trip has a great range of activities and also provides a a nice mix of culture, chill time as well as enjoying the night life. I loved checking out what bangkok had to offer when the sun goes down and especially loved the national park.
I had also never seen an elephant before I came on the experience, it was great to see them geneuinly happy and in such a humane environment... I also now have some epic new instagram photos!

The trip is a once in a lifetime experience and gives you everything you need to start ticking off your bucket list. I can't wait to book onto another Intro Travel trip and head over onto the Bali and Sri Lanka experience!

I couldn't ask for a better way to spend my holidays!

Best trip ever!

Loved every day of this trip. Well organised, good pacing with a great balance of culture, adventure, parties and chill time!!
Personal highlights were the National Park and tubing. Also getting to Experinece the full moon party beach is a night I’ll never forget.

Made friends that will last a lifetime and can’t wait to book another trip with this company. The leaders are knowledgable, fun and make sure everyone is included while allowing people space to do their own thing when needed. Couldn’t ask for more!!!

AN UNFORGETTABLE TRIP!

I have just got home from the 13 day Thai Experience trip and it was genuinely one of my best, most memorable experiences! Everyone talks about how incredible of a country Thailand is but I have Intro Travel to thank for making sure I seen and experienced the best of the best while there! The places we visited were beautiful (Khao Sok National park, both the bungalows and treehouses were my favourite - a unique, off the beaten track experience), I made genuine friendships along the way and our group leader was absolutely amazing! She completely took away any worries and stress associated with travelling, went above and beyond for each and everyone of us and overall was just super fun and cool to be around! AND if the itinerary wasn’t good enough already, being able to spend time and observe elephants in a natural, humane environment was the icing on the cake!
If you want to explore Thailand with a company that cares about you, takes you to instagram worthy destinations and allows you to take part in bucket list experiences, i couldn’t recommend Intro Travel and Thai Experience enough!!

What is your favorite travel memory?

Is snorkel day trip off Koh Tao island in Thailand. I got to see some amazing coral and reefs through crystal clear waters. There was a stop on Koh Nang Yuan which had an amazing view point. I also got to see some amazing coloured fish that I had never seen before. The boat staff were lovely, and guided us to great viewing spots.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have developed a broad knowledge of my assigned countries which are Vietnam and Cambodia. I have also developed great communication and public speaking skills. I have learnt a lot about different cultures, and how they run at a much slower place to back home in Australia. They live very different lifestyles and it has made me think differently about how I would like to live my life.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

It was their first time traveling overseas, and they loved the trip so much that it has kickstarted their love for travel. They have booked in for another tour with Intro and are now making future plans to travel to many more countries and have developed a great new confidence to travel on their own.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would love to travel on the Japan tour, as I have always wanted to go to Japan but never had the opportunity. The tour covers so many parts of the country, and a lot of the transport is via the bullet train which had been on my bucket list to ride on. There are so many great activities included on the tour, and futuristic cities that I think would be amazing to see!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

Our company is unique because in each country there is a destination that is ‘off the beaten’ track with a lot more inclusions. We have a large focus on making sustainable and environmentally friendly changes to the places that are visited and try to educate customers to help make these changes. All leaders make a great effort to always make positivity changes through out every single trip.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Social media and marketing are a massive part. We have a great media team that capture some beautiful content that really makes customers excited about travel. The quality of tours are really important too as they need to cover a large variety and have activities that cater for all types of people. A reasonable price bracket on tours is also important.
