About Program
Your Costa Rica adventure begins with 5 days of Spanish language classes to improve your conversation skills in the beautiful cloud forests of Monteverde. Nestled in the jungle, we'll stay in homestays, take a Latin cooking class, zipline, and volunteer with a local sustainability organization. After class each day, you'll hike and explore forests and even volcanoes! Next we'll explore the geothermal paradises of Arenal and Rincon de la Vieja to dip in natural hot springs, hike to waterfalls, relax in mud baths, and mountain bike. We'll transfer to Ostional to volunteer with sea turtles, and then head to the Pacific Ocean to surf, snorkel, and engage in meaningful service work in a small village, and relax on the beach. Our final days will wrap up with an overnight rafting trip through Class III rapids, giving us the chance to end our trip with an exciting finale.
This 3-week program in Costa Rica strikes the perfect balance of service, Spanish language immersion, and adventure!
