I loved this program. I went with a school community and the community there was so welcoming and providing great support to everyone. As well as providing delicious food! I was very nervous to go at first, but once I was there I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and assurance. The amazing connecting with the farm and nature was beautiful. The lessons I learned at the Regenerative Field Institute are ones I will never forget. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to go and I believe that everyone should visit at least once if they are able.

Pros
  • Great experiences
  • Great food
  • Amazing people
Cons
  • Bugs

Simply Incredible

This program was nothing short of amazing and I would do it again a thousand times over. All the fascinating things I have learned about the flora and fauna of Ecuador, how to build bamboo structures and all about the benefits of bamboo, and more than anything how to live more sustainably I will take with me everywhere I go. This program is all about making a healthier world and taking care of Mother Nature so I strongly encourage anyone interested in that to attend (just make sure you love bugs:)

Pros
  • Passionate people
  • Delicious food
  • Beautiful Environment

Forever Memorable

Everyday I would wake up to the sounds of birds, moneys, and beautiful nature. Coming into this trip I expected to learn about the impact of sustainable methods used in planting and building. Instead, it opened a door revealing into my purpose and contribution for the world. I learned that every step leads into my goal for the environment. Taking action felt powerful once sweat dripped off my face. My group and I were assigned to cut grass for the bio corridor, which would allow animals to pass through. Every drip of sweat reminded me of the power, we humans behold. And the best part is this leadership is only the beginning.

Pros
  • Learn in a different setting
  • New activities everyday
  • Isolated
Cons
  • You will get dirty (that’s the fun part)

Redwood Ecuador Trip 2023

This trip was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The staff was incredible and everyone was so welcoming and really made us feel at home. In addition, the housing was great and the food was also amazing. The work was hard, but still so enjoyable and rewarding. Our day trips were also so fun and it was really interesting to see different parts of Ecuador and learn about so many cultures. Everything felt so safe and surreal. I am so grateful that I got this opportunity and I can't wait to go back again!

Pros
  • Amazing staff
  • Great housing and accommodations
  • Enjoyable work

AMAZING

This program is a once in a life time experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I learned so much about agriculture and about myself individually. It was a great opportunity to disconnect from daily distractions and stresses and to really get my hands dirty and make a difference in the nearby ecosystem and community. I was also able to make connections with people I went on the trip with and with the amazing staff there. It felt like we were all one big happy familia. I also loved seeing all of the wildlife like the monkeys and to help the growing ecosystems on the farm to really flourish.

Pros
  • Learn about agriculture
  • Learn about yourself individually
  • Make a difference in ecosystem
Cons
  • You have to much fun
  • The food is to good
  • The staff and hosts are to amazing
