Study Abroad Programs for High School and University Groups

Reggio Lingua is a school of Italian language and culture for foreigners who want to learn Italian in Italy. The school is located in Reggio Emilia, a welcoming, quiet small town not far from Bologna in the Emilia Romagna region; it provides the ideal location for a genuine immersion in Italian life outside the world of tourism and it also renowned because of the Reggio Emilia Approach, the educational philosophy focused on pre-school education based on the principles of respect, responsibility, and community through exploration and discovery in a supportive and enriching environment. Besides the language lessons, we include in our programs some free time activities particularly interesting for students of Early Childhood Education such as visits to the International Center “Loris Malaguzzi”, to the ReMida Recycling center and to some pre-schools, shadowing in primary schools as well as excursions to the near cities like Venice, Florence, Verona, Mantua, Cinque Terre.
