Yes, I recommend this program

My experience studying urban design in Amsterfam

I had such an amazing time on this trip. I’m still in touch with so many of my peers and I’m even planning to meet up with them soon in NY. Thanks to my CIEE summer abroad, I am most likely going to do something in architecture or urban design for my major in college. A major part of this was my instructor, Cornelia, who was incredibly overqualified to be teaching us. Not to mention, I learned so much about independence and how to support myself. It was such an incredible way to have fun over the summer, while still doing something that supported my future. I can not recommend this course enough!!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
My most nerve-racking moment was crossing the street. Bikes in Amsterdam can be kind of terrifying and although I thought that I had encountered them a lot living in Chicago, it did not hold a candle Amsterdam. However, by the end of my trip, I had grown very adept at crossing the street and it didn’t even bother me.
