You won’t be an everyday tourist: you’ll chart your own course and explore far beyond the major attractions. You’ll discover Russia’s actual visual, musical, cinematic, and theatre art in all its glory, outside of stereotypes and feeble fantasies. With CIEE, you’ll uncover the roots of Russian classical arts, contemporary scenes and the avant-garde movements of the 20th century, socialist realism, and the underground culture of the Soviet era.
