Greatest summer experience

I travelled to Cape Town, SA with Projects Abroad in 2019. One of the best uses of a summer where I had loads of fun working on legal cases, experiencing Cape Town’s culture and attraction, and met friends from all over the world that I’m still in contact with. Projects Abroad managed the trip brilliantly, organising daily activities outside of our volunteering work, so there was never a dull moment and I always felt safe and considered. The volunteering work felt both impactful within the community, and impactful on my own ambitions and prospects going in to the future.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Try and get to know everyone in the group on your trip and you’ll make countless new friends for life
