Summer Teen Travel in the Alps with Bold Earth

This trip was one of the best experiences I have ever been on, from meeting people like me around the world to learning about different cultures. I had never gone on a trip similar to this one and everything about it was amazing. From the start of the trip, I felt comfortable and was able to connect with the other campers, making friendships on the first day. The icebreakers that were set up were not awkward and I was able to enjoy every moment of the trip as soon as I landed. This trip also made me feel much more comfortable in an area that I have never been to before.

The Bold Alps trip was both mentally and physically tough. It was and amazing experience and I speak for everyone when I say the feeling of accomplishment we had when it was over was like no other feeling. I laughed the hardest I’ve ever laughed on this trip and made amazing life long memories with people who I only got to spend 2 short weeks with. I’d recommend this trip to an and every teen who is looking for a summer experience that they will never forget. I’m still in contact with the friends I made and hope to be for a very long time.

I am a student that has been on two Bold Earth trips so far, and I can't recommend them enough. I just got back from two weeks hiking in the Alps, and I am still in awe. I am an aspiring photographer, so there was no shortage of material, but I think what made the trip special was the people. The trip leaders were knowledgeable and super fun, and all the other students were just as excited as I was. Together we hiked through stunning landscapes while eating the best fresh baguettes and cheese you have ever had! The trip also felt really safe, so for anyone on the fence about going overseas with a bunch of strangers: GO FOR IT. I have been nervous before both of my trips, and I don't regret a minuet of either of them. They really were some of the best weeks of my life!
