My Adventure Tour to Thailand was filled with some of the richest and best memories I will ever make. I got to meet so many amazing people, both locals and friends I made on the tour. When I try and decide a favorite part, it's always impossible. From the time at the school, volunteer work with the elephants, visiting the temples, exploration of the islands, and so much more, each time a moment of the trip pops into my head, it brings a smile to my face. TFT staff did an exceptional job organizing the itinerary and engaging with the students, helping to create a fulfilling trip that will stay with me forever.

My summer at TFT was a dope experience 💯. The counselors and the other teens were super chill and made a whole new country feel like a home away from home. The program had the perfect balance of new cultural experiences, group activities, and community service. Every day was something new! Swimming with elephants, going to thai markets, hiking on a beautiful mountain, or learning how to cook noodles in bamboo shoots! We worked to make a big impact and long-lasting difference for the kids we helped and the schools we worked to renew. Where we worked to make a difference, we also made connections along the way. We connected with the Thai language, the food, the people, the wildlife, and each other. The experience goes hard🔥10/10! Recommend!!! <3

This trip was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where I was able to explore Thai culture, eat Thai food, and make so many new friends. I did activities like mountain biking, kayaking, ziplining, and hiking, and also relaxed on the beach on the islands. The city of Bangkok is so unique with its temples, markets, and street vendors. We also had the opportunity to interact with elephants, which was an amazing experience! This country is beautiful and has so much to offer. I would recommend this trip to anyone!

I heard about TFT from my friend in the United States who had used TFT before, and he told me that he had a fantastic experience. He shared some photos of places he had visited, which were terrific. Upon arriving in Thailand, I met the TFT group counselor at the airport and headed to the hotel. On our way to the hotel, we stopped at the 911 shop, got some snacks, and continued our journey. After one hour, we finally arrived, and they showed us the rooms where we were staying. We later went to the village for community service, which was amazing because we learned how to cook Thai food! Then we went to the elephant farm, fed the elephants, and learned a lot. We went for a bike ride on the rice farm and saw how they plant rice, which was a good experience for those of us who had never seen anything like that. Later, we headed back to the hotel, and the TFT counselor called everyone for a meeting where they spoke to us about their expectations of our conduct, briefed us on the itinerary that had been shared with us before, and then proceeded to dinner. The following day, we headed to the island by a boat, and it took us around 2 hours. Once we arrived, everyone was so excited to see the beautiful blue ocean and forgot the long journey. We had an exciting time exploring many cities in Thailand, and I took lots of photos for memories. I never knew the beauty that existed in Thailand until I went there myself.

My experience with Travel for Teens in Thailand was unlike anything I’ve ever done. It felt like I was actually experiencing the country and not just visiting it. Not only do I now get to look back on the unique experiences I was able to participate in, such as working with elephants, but I also made strong and close connections within my group. Through my experiences with Travel for Teens, I have made friends around the world. The other campers, amazing counselors, and the exploration of the country itself all contributed equally to the memorability of my trip. I cannot wait for my TFT trip next year to meet new people and discover new locations and cultures!

Traveling to Thailand with Travel for Teens was an experience I will never forget. The sites were incredible and every single day was filled with adventure and fun. The food is incredible as it was authentic and we even got to attend cooking classes. We cooked traditional food that was delicious. The group I was with was filled with like-minded individuals striving to see the world and truly experience what real traveling is like. We shared beautiful experiences with excursions like rafting down the Pai River and scuba diving Thai coral reefs. A highlight was also working at an elephant sanctuary! The counselors made everyone feel safe while being friendly and fun the entire trip. I highly recommend any TFT trip to any teenager eager to seek out adventure. If you want to travel the world Travel For Teens is the way to go.

This past summer I traveled to Thailand on TFT’s Thailand Elephant Service and the Islands program. This trip was by far my favorite trip that I’ve been on with TFT. The combination of working with elephants, the breadth of activities, as well as the great counselors and campers made it by far one of the most memorable two weeks of my life. One of the highlights of the trip was the service we did with elephants. We volunteered with elephants at sanctuaries learning about proper elephant care, we got to bathe them, prepare food and feed them, cleaned their enclosures, and went on a walk with them. This trip as a whole pushed me out of my comfort zone, it helped me become much more comfortable with trying new things. Each day was filled with new activities which enabled us to experience and learn about the Thai culture. The activities included exploring traditional Thai markets, cooking classes, exploring Thai temples, and much more. Our counselors were amazing, they were always understanding, were easy to come to with any issues, and were just really fun to travel and hang out with. Not only were the counselors great but I met some of the best people on this trip. I’m certain that I will be friends with a few of them for the rest of my life. I’m so grateful to have been able to go on this trip and I wouldn’t trade this trip for the world.
