Gain hands-on experience in equine care and animal welfare while living on a working horse farm in Costa Rica. This immersive internship is designed for students and aspiring professionals interested in veterinary medicine, animal science, equine studies, and related fields. Work alongside experienced mentors in small groups, receiving personalized instruction as you learn horse handling, health monitoring, nutrition, stable management, behavior, natural horsemanship, and sustainable farm practices. Participants may also observe and assist during educational veterinary sessions when available. Beyond the ranch, experience Costa Rican culture, connect with nature, and become part of our welcoming ranch community.
