My internship in Chateau des comtes de challes

My internship experience at the hotel till now has been very good and helpful. It has given me practical experience of working in the hospitality industry and helped me understand how hotel operations work in real life, not just in theory. Working in different sections, especially in food and beverage service, is improving my communication skills, confidence, teamwork, and my ability to deal with guests in a professional manner.

I have learned the importance of discipline, punctuality, hygiene standards, and guest satisfaction. Interacting with international guests has enhanced my cultural understanding and service etiquette. The staff and supervisors have been supportive, cooperative, and encouraging, which made the learning process smooth and motivating.

However, there are some challenges related to accommodation. Which I hope will get better with time.

My internship at La villa k, saint Louis, France

I am enjoying my internship in kitchen and enjoying working with the staff itself.not only this my mentor is very kind with me and help me at any situation. And the place I got my internship is one of the best location because it is a Tri junction between France, Germany and Switzerland so we can roam around when we get our day off from our work visiting different countries with Schengen visa. The process of all of this are really smooth and enjoyable and the AFI group gives us free french classes also so we face less difficulty to understand the local language

Review about my experience with AF

My dream of interning in France in 2025 has finally become a reality, and I owe it all to the incredible team at Ambassadeur Francophone. From the very first consultation, they turned what could have been a stressful, complex process into a smooth and exciting journey. Their guidance on documentation and visa requirements was flawless, and I felt supported every step of the way. If you are a hospitality or culinary student looking to elevate your career in Europe, I cannot recommend them enough. They don’t just find you a placement; they truly care about your success

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
The best way to succeed in France is to embrace the challenge with an open mind. Be the first to arrive, never hesitate to ask 'Why?' to understand the French technique, and always start every interaction with a warm 'Bonjour.' Your technical skills will grow in the kitchen or hotel, but your character will grow through the culture. Be patient with yourself during the first few weeks of the language barrier—by the end, the confidence you gain will be your greatest souvenir.
Pros
  • Elite Reputation: Having a French internship on your CV is a global "gold standard" that opens doors to luxury careers worldwide.
  • Legal Protections: You are guaranteed a monthly stipend, duty meals, and accommodation under strict French labor regulations.
  • Cultural Mastery: Living in France provides total immersion in the world's most famous culinary and hospitality traditions.
Cons
  • Cultural Rigor: The French workplace is highly hierarchical and demanding, requiring strict discipline and thick skin.
  • Initial Isolation: The language barrier and moving to a new country can make the first few weeks feel lonely or overwhelming.
  • High Travel Costs: While basics are covered, exploring France on weekends requires careful budgeting as transportation and leisure are expensive.

Dream internship in Megeve, France

I am currently doing my 6-month internship in Megeve, in the French Alps. So far it has been an incredible experience - immersing into the French culture and learning more about the hospitality industry.

I cannot thank Ambassadeur Francophone enough for this opportunity. From the very first meeting they have made what should have been a stressful process, completely smooth, guiding me every step of the way. I am now able to enjoy this incredible experience, with the team at my disposal whenever needed.

Ambassadeur Francophone has helped me with this incredible internship opportunity, but more than that, also the opportunity to experience the beautiful life in France - something I only ever could dream of. I would highly recommend!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
You will learn a lot during your internship that will help you grow within the hospitality industry, but more than that, there are so many beautiful experiences to do outside of work. I would recommend working hard but also exploring as much as you can outside.
I've been able to visit Chamonix and Annecy, go on hikes and enjoy the city center Christmas tree light-up. There is truly so much to experience!
Pros
  • Housing included
  • Culturally immersive

Ambassadeur Francophone

I am extremely grateful to Ambassadeur Francophone for making my entire process smooth and stress-free. From the very beginning, the team guided me with professionalism, clarity, and exceptional support. I received my visa approval in just one attempt, which was possible only because of their detailed guidance and flawless documentation process.

A special mention to Bhavay Sir, whose constant support and timely assistance truly helped me at every stage. I would also like to appreciate Priyanka Ma’am, who has been incredibly kind and helpful throughout my internship process. Her guidance made everything much easier for me.

The coordination of the entire Ambassadeur Francophone team is truly up to the mark. They not only supported me with the visa and internship procedures but also helped me plan my journey smoothly to my hotel in France. Their dedication and commitment are truly commendable.

I sincerely thank the whole team for their outstanding service and for being a major part of my successful journey.
