About Program
Travel to Cape Town and work alongside a professional remedial teacher. Gain theoretical knowledge, as well as practical skills while working as a special education teachers assistant. Identify specific skills you would like to improve or develop and work with your skilled professional mentor who can guide you throughout your internship on our structured mentorship program.
Get involved in our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative and work one-on-one with children with learning disabilities in a township on the outskirts of Cape Town. You can expect to gain experience and knowledge on support techniques for a variety of remedial requirements during this internship.
You will spend the week working alongside teachers or participating in workshops or course work, but you will have free weekends to explore Cape Town and all the exciting adventures and cultural activities it has to offer.
