Intern in London | The Global Internship

My experience in London was even better than what I expected. Madison was a great person to lead the group. She was so helpful throughout the whole preparation process and as well as the whole time in country. She was great assisting me with any questions I had and is such a great person. She makes everyone feel like a close friend. I would recommend this program to any student looking for a an international internship and experience.

Having the chance to live and work in London is something that I've always wanted to do, so I jumped on the chance to spend an entire summer making that happen. WeFindGroup has and continues to make so many international business connections that no matter what your interests, you will be matched with an internship that is perfect for you.

WeFindGroup was able to place me in an internship that allowed me to use my pre-med and business backgrounds, as my company had a division devoted entirely to improving the efficiency of pharmaceutical manufacturing. I learned firsthand just how global the scope of medicine can be, and I learned many professional skills along the way, including problem solving and critical thinking. Yes, there will be some roadblocks along the way during your internship, as most of the problems you face at work will be much different than those you face in school. You may encounter vague instructions from supervisors, and sometimes you might even feel like you don't know what you are supposed to be doing, but with the support of your internship coordinator, Madison, you will learn how to overcome these challenges to make the most of your professional experience in the U.K.

In addition to developing your professional skills, being in London has it's perks too. It is one of the most culturally diverse and exciting cities in the world, and there will be no shortage of things to do during time abroad. Take advantage of London's location and travel to some of those places you've been dying to get to! (I highly recommend the Scottish Highlands). Remember that you can stay with the other interns in Madrid FOR FREE, and trust me, Madrid will not disappoint. Be sure to meet as many people as you can during your stay so you can have those friendships that span across continents. I cannot recommend this program enough, so if you're ready for an unforgettable experience in an unforgettable city, then what are you waiting for? Go for it!

I had the opportunity to intern abroad in London with the We Find Group and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity! I was the only student from my university to go and the We Find Group Team made me feel right at home as soon as I applied! The team was so helpful with getting my thoughts rolling on exactly what type of internship I wanted, to making sure all my documents were correct and sent in on time for my VISA and answer any questions I had through the whole process! Once getting to London, we were picked up from the airport and taken to our accommodation, which was in a great part of London, near lots of restaurants, stores and an underground station with access to one of the airports. The accommodation had all the features you need and a view I couldn't believe! Our resident director always made time for you if you had questions and had biweekly meetings to check in on your progress at your internship. My internship was at a startup fintech company in West London. I really got a taste of what living in a big city was and how a startup is run and operated! At the end of my 8 weeks, I was really sad to go because I had made so many great friends in the programs and at work. If you are looking for a program that gives you a chance to see work from a global aspect or just to experience work in another country, this program is for you!

Overall, the global internship experience I received in London pushed me to excel in my upcoming career and helped lay a foundation for future success. While there, I expanded my professional and social networks, and had an exorbitant amount of fun. Additionally, I developed skills that proved beneficial to other internships that followed my summer in London, as well as my current career in professional services. Combining the support of the coaching system We Find Group has set in place, the applicable nature of the internship to my future career, and the ability to intern in one of the most global cities in the world, I would strongly recommend this program to anyone looking to further both their professional and social careers.

They were super helpful throughout the entire process; from the pre-departure information to figuring out the best internship for me. The pre-departure info included the visa application process, possible group flights, and what to expect from your internship abroad. We Find Group worked with me to make sure I had an internship in the area I was interested in. They not only found me a great internship but the 24/7 live in resident director checked in with us and gave helpful feedback/coaching every week. We Find Group also had planned events and trips in London to help me explore the city and get to know the other 30 people on the program. I made so many new friends and always had a travel buddy on the weekends. The accommodations were amazing being in the heart of London and next to a major tube station. They included a kitchen, shower, wifi, and were very comfortable. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to travel Europe while getting real work experience.

My name is Brad Weinstein, and I am a junior at Tulane University. I was so lucky to have discovered this program while job hunting last year. After coming across We Find Group, and what they have to offer, I knew it was the program for me. They flew down from Ohio to interview me, truly vest my career interests, and then placed me into a consulting company in their healthcare division. I could not have been more grateful for how the program administration facilitated the internship placement process, the VISA process, and so much more. I got to spend my abroad experience working on the weekdays, meeting native Londoners, and truly feeling like I was contributing to a global company. On the weekends (and some week nights), I was so lucky to have been part of a fun, diverse group of other students from across the country. This made those weekends and nights so much more fun and allowed me to remember these new friends for a lifetime. I would recommend this experience 10/10 times!
