Recently, I completed the Introduction to Vietnamese Language Training course at LTL Language School, and I can confidently say that it was one of the most rewarding educational experiences I have undertaken.

As someone who regularly travels to Vietnam and has a strong interest in Vietnamese culture, history, and people, I wanted a practical language course that would provide a solid foundation for communicating with the local community. LTL Language School exceeded my expectations in every way.

One of the aspects that impressed me most was how much I was able to learn in such a short period of time. The course was structured in a logical and practical manner, allowing me to quickly build a strong foundation in Vietnamese pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence structure, and everyday conversation. Rather than simply memorizing words and phrases, I developed a genuine understanding of how the language works and how it is used in real-life situations.

The lessons were engaging, interactive, and tailored to practical communication. Throughout the course, I learned how to introduce myself, ask and answer common questions, navigate daily situations, and communicate more effectively with Vietnamese speakers. I also gained valuable insights into Vietnamese customs, traditions, etiquette, and cultural norms, which helped me better understand the country and its people.

The confidence I gained from the course was significant. Before attending, I was often hesitant to speak Vietnamese for fear of making mistakes. By the end of the training, I felt far more comfortable interacting with local people, ordering food, asking for directions, engaging in simple conversations, and demonstrating respect through the use of appropriate language and cultural understanding. This has made my time in Vietnam far more enjoyable and meaningful.

A major reason for my positive experience was my teacher, John. He is an exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated instructor who clearly has a passion for teaching Vietnamese. His patience, encouragement, and ability to explain even the most challenging aspects of the language made learning both enjoyable and effective.

John’s teaching style creates a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and practising their language skills. His deep understanding of both the Vietnamese language and culture added tremendous value to every lesson. Beyond being an excellent teacher, he is also extremely friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in the success of his students.

I would strongly recommend LTL Language School to anyone considering learning Vietnamese, regardless of their current level of experience. Whether you are traveling, working, conducting business, or simply interested in the language and culture, the school provides an excellent learning environment and highly effective teaching methods.

I had 30h total of lessons with tri, and had a great experience. It was a good mix of learning in the classroom, but also going to shops and cafes to practice the real situations. The team is really lovely, and organized a ton of activities that you could join if you wanted too! During my time here i learnt both the grammar and ’rules’ of Vietnamese as well as how to use it in an everyday situation. I had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend this to someone looking to learn the language!!

I had a truly great experience learning Vietnamese with Linh in Hanoi, and I can confidently say that she is an exceptional teacher. From the very beginning, she created a comfortable and welcoming learning environment, which made it easy for me to feel relaxed and open to learning. What stood out immediately was how attentive she is—she really takes the time to listen carefully and understand your individual goals, strengths, and areas where you need improvement. Based on that, she adapts every lesson in a way that feels very personal and effective.

Her teaching style is highly interactive, which I found incredibly helpful. The lessons never felt one-sided or like a traditional classroom lecture. Instead, they were more like engaging conversations where I was actively involved the whole time. This approach made it much easier to stay focused and motivated, and it also helped me gain confidence in actually using the language rather than just passively understanding it. She strikes a great balance between structured learning and natural communication, which really accelerates progress.

Another thing I really appreciated was her flexibility. Whether it was scheduling lessons or adjusting the content on short notice, she was always accommodating and understanding. This made the whole experience much more convenient and stress-free, especially when plans changed. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her students’ progress and does her best to support them in a way that fits their individual situation.

Beyond just teaching the language, Linh also shared a lot about Vietnamese culture, which added a whole new dimension to the lessons. Learning a language is so much more meaningful when you also understand the cultural context behind it, and she was very open and enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge and experiences. This made the lessons not only educational but also very interesting and enjoyable.

Overall, I can highly recommend Linh to anyone who wants to learn Vietnamese in a supportive, engaging, and personalized way. She is a dedicated and skilled teacher who goes above and beyond to make sure her students feel comfortable and make real progress. If you’re looking for lessons that are both effective and enjoyable, she is definitely the right choice.

I had a wonderful experience during my two-week language course in Hanoi with my two teachers, chị Hien and em Linh!

The course was incredibly enriching. Both teachers were extremely friendly, dedicated, and always helpful. They created a pleasant learning environment where I always felt comfortable and well supported, and they also addressed my individual learning needs.

In my 1:1 course with em Linh, we not only practiced reading but also talked about Vietnamese culture in depth, which I found particularly enriching. This also helped me improve my speaking skills and gain more confidence when speaking. I also received additional learning materials, for which I am very grateful. 💗

I came to Hanoi as a solo traveler to learn vietnamese and to come closer to my origin and to get the full experience of this country!

Booking this course and organizing everything was more easier than I expected, but everyone is so friendly!

I booked the 1-on-1 Course in Hanoi with Jasmine as my teacher.

It is really intense to learn a language when you are completely new to it within 2 weeks! But the lessons with Jasmine are very fun, interesting and helpful. She has a lot of patience and is a very friendly person. Thanks a lot to her!

I attended a one-week Vietnamese class with LTL Language School in Hanoi in October 2025 and had a great experience. The coordinator Margot and the teacher Jasmine were super nice and helpful.

It was very well organized and I could improve my Vietnamese skills a lot with my teacher Jasmine.

I learned many new words and expressions, and I could immediately practice what I learned during my stay in Vietnam. It was an enjoyable and effective learning experience!

I booked a 3 weeks program with LTL. They were very patient with me and even allowed me arrange my time as 2 weeks Hanoi and 1 week in HCMC.

The classes were to be held either 2 hours one of one or 4 hours of classroom depending on the student availability.

Teachers were very attentive and to the point in terms of teaching. Also the material was great for learning and exercising the concepts taught in class.

I stayed with host families in both cities. They were very hospitable. Both accomodations were according to what I filled in. However I recommend to be very clear with your requirements, as LTL takes that into account in their search.

In terms of social activities, it was a bit on the limited side because depending on the season you go there may not be too many other students. However both cities are quite large and have a lot of different options in terms of entertainment.

Overall I had a great experience. I thank the teachers and the LTL staff for arranging and accomodating my studies.
