Are there prerequisites for this certificate?

My husband and I don't have degrees, but we would want to teach in Taiwan. Do we need a degree and the certification? Does the certification qualify us for a work visa?
You must complete the course to receive the certificate. I did it all online. I believe now you must do at least some classroom time.
