Warriors Summer Quest 2021

I learnt so much from Warriors and I can't fathom them amount of activities, excursions, fitness and fun we had over 2 months. I learnt a lot about myself during this time and made so many memories with new found friends from all over the world. Hiking in the Wolkberg, Kruger National Park, the cycle safari, toltec and many other activities really bonded us together. I found a new love and appreciation for nature and I've realized what a privilege it was to go on warriors. I can't wait for the next quest.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
The most nerve racking moment would definitely being charged by a big male buffalo on pur 3 day hike in the Kruger.

Warriors review

Overall, these 2 months have changed my mindset, on focusing on the positive things in life, to keep moving forward, staying mentally and physically fit. The staff has done extremely well on individual growth and organizing amazing event. I can't wait to keep growing and learning new skill on the upcoming AUTUMN quest. As well as eating another juicy Boma Burger. Highly recommend this quest for those who would like to add that extra boost of life. At warriors you work for your reward and its definitely worth it.

What was your funniest moment?
Betsie the Golden orb spider, and group hugs.... Oooo and that spit braai 🤗🙏, and so many more

Amazing In Every Way

Warriors is a very versatile program - not only do you get to have once in a lifetime experiences (like hiking in the Kruger National Park or cycling through Limpopo), you also learn so much about yourself, gain important life skills, and build lifelong connections with people from all over the world. Every single one of the staff members seem to have made it their mission to support, build up, and push the Warriors (students) to become the best versions of ourselves. I cannot properly express my love for this program in words, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone feeling lost, confused or bored with life (or for anyone just looking for adventure).

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Don't expect all rainbows and butterflies - sometimes it gets really tough and you have to dig deep and push yourself, but it's absolutely worth it in the end.

Amazing

The amount that i have grown and the amount of perspective I've gained as well as the activities that i did in just 7 weeks blows my mind... Best thing I've done with my life thus far and can't wait to go again. I met people from america... Poland... Netherlands ect. And learning from then and growing with them as a group going through the hardships and absolutely unmatched memories we've made has connected us so much and taught me so much about myself. Would not have been the productive energetic and positive person i am today if not for this program.

What was your funniest moment?
When i poured down rain at 2 am in the kruger national park and an elephant walked 8m from the group and everyone was in disbelief due to the sleep deprivation cause of the rain... What an experience.

Warriors academy

I went here without any idea what I was going to do and it turned out amazing. I learned so many things about my self and built up my physical conditioning. I did amazing hikes, one of them was a Hike in the Kruger Park. We saw some amazing animals, and we saw a elephant only 10 meters away. We also did a amazing 500km cycle that pushed me to my limits mentally and physically. We also got a first aid certificate, a public speaking certificate and we had self defence classes. I would recommend this to every gap year student that wants to do something adventurous.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
My group got attacked by a buffaloe, what unfortunately had to end in our guide out the animal down.

My adventure as a warrior

Warriors academy is the best adventure gap year to go to by far!... You learn everything from values, morales, hard work and have a new perspective on your life based on your personality. I highly recommend this programme for all unsure or adventure seeking teens and young adults if you want to change your life in a more positive and soul cleansing manner. You get your moneys worth for not only for the activities but for also how amazing, wild, disciplined and professional the staff are... Thank you Warriors Academy for everything and good luck teaching future warriors 😉👍🏼

What was your funniest moment?
When most of the warriors burned their shoes, sleeping on the floor for the 1st 2 nights in our cabin and as well as the theatre night.

WAT

This was the best thing that my daughter could do after matric. She came back with so much more than I ever expected. She has a lot of good memories to hold on to when things get tough now and consider the warrior team part of her family. Every task she did gave her more confidence and made her realize that no matter what there is always a solution. Friends can save your life so choose them wisely, and be a friend, you never know when someone might need a helping hand. She will not exchange this time for anything thing else.

What was your funniest moment?
To see a man cook dinner, and made it so well! She made that dish for a few people now, and it is getting to be a family tradition dish..

Warriors

December 2020 was the second Warriors Week our daughter has been part of. She came home so excited and ready to look at things differently and face life's challenges with new found energy, wisdom and gusto. Loving the outdoors and adventure activities this action packed week was another dream come true for her. There were opportunities for self reflection too and these moments really had an impact on her. New skills and friendships were developed, the experiences and memories will be held dear for a lifetime.

Attending the Warriors' Gap Year Programme makes you a stronger person both physically and mentally

The Gap year program of Warriors which our son attended for two quests in 2020 has been a great experience for him both physically and mentally. He gained more self-confidence by functioning in a diverse group of youngsters under challenging situations. He starts understanding that he is the one that can make the change. He is not there yet but the program helped him to become a better person for himself, his friends and family. I can recommend the program for teenagers who are looking for goals and structure in their lifes (although they may see this different at the start)

Life changing

After I have finish my A levels in Singapore I will with out even contemplating go on the gap year with the Warriors Academy, but until then I will just have to bide my time. I strongly believe that the warriors have change my life multiple times and I have no complaints what so ever. The food, activities, accommodation and vibes were “off the wall”
I had an amazing week with them on the Warriors Adventure Tour. This week is a great introduction to the gap year and I recommend it to anyone considering a gap year.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
You must be open to do things you would not necessary do on your own accord.
