The best time of my life

I have never been to Asia before and decided kind of spontaneously to take a semester abroad in Phuket, Thailand, which turned out to be the best decision of my life. I had no clue how to organize it and which courses are thought in English, as this is not usual in Asia and the direct contact with the Universities can be difficult. Asia Exchange help me a lot with this and also to get my course accredited. They provide a lot of courses in English and handle you out a detailed course description for each course, which you can show to your professors at your home university to make them feel comfortable to get the credit points. The hole experience was just super nice and I would always do the same. Thanks Asia Exchange!

A lifetime experience you should definitely try

Since my university did not provide much help for studying outside of europe, I reached for different options and discovered AsiaExchange. I decided to spend a semester in Shanghai in 2017, which was definitely one of the best decisions during my studies. There is so much to do, see and learn, the food is great and culture just so different.

Altough their study program did not really fit my curriculum (engineering), this was a great opportunity to learn about culture, economics and various soft-skills. The studies did not take too much time, so some was left to explore Shanghai itself and dive into local culture. Also traveling to other parts of China by High-Speed Train was really interesting and much fun.

I returned with a lot of new friends, incredible experiences and the urge to leave for another adventure soon.

A must-DO for everyone!

I studied abroad at Udayana university with AsiaExchange in autumn, 2018. This program was definitely a life changing experience for me and I would definitely recommend is to everyone! The organization was well structured and the employees were very friendly and helpful which ensured a smooth stay for me. The university is well developed and meets all the required needs, I didn’t notice one moment I felt uncomfortable here. What excited me at the university were as well the teacher, they have such a different perspective on life than what were usually used to and it gave me a lot of new insights, also this view online changes their perspective on certain university topics and it’s a great opportunity to see the opposite side of the story, I think this will provide an overall benefit. This program is definitely a must do for everyone who wants to study in paradise and gain the experience of a life time!

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?
The most unfamiliar thing I ate was definitely Cat-Poop Coffee.

Perfect for People without plans after university

All my friends did their abroad studies during their studies. I kind of missed this opportunity. While I was writing my Bachelor Thesis, I really didn't have a clue what to do now. Work and Travel in Australia like everyone else? AuPair like all the 18 YO? But then I heard about Asia Exchange from a friend.

The application is done in a really short time, there was no long waiting time with worries. My acceptance letter came in really soon after I've sent my application. The special thing was, that you don't have to be enrolled in your home university. A perfect shot for me.

I organised my accommodation on my own, but found some people in a facebook group organised by Asia Exchange. When we arrived they also organised a special weekend for some people, so got to know each other better. At our university there were two mentors, one from finland, one from the US. They organised field trips, freetime activities, had office hours at our university, so we could talk to them about every issue.

They also organised appointements at the registration office for our visas, I didn't have to do anything. That was awesome.

I felt in good hands with Asia Exchange, everything was easy and well structured. If you're doing a gap Year between your Highschool and your Bachelors and your Bachelors and your Masters, it's a perfect way to do it.

What would you improve about this program?
The offered classes could be more flexible and variable. Also the academic standard could be a bit higher.

A great experience

I was studying at Udayana University for two semesters! It was as an wonderful experience that I would recommend for anyone thinking about going abroad! Bali is the perfect place to learn and experience different cultures. Except that the surfing, food, beaches, people, sun and much more had made this to an amazing time. Asia exchange has been helpful during the whole time and been given good information that was needed. Bali will be my second home forever and Asia exchange made this possible! I recommend this for everyone !

Siam University 2017/2018

I studied in Thailand at the Siam University (Bangkok) for one year(2017/18) and it was a great time because the Siam University offers a good education and support, I also had a great time because I had the chance to understand its culture and travel in Thailand and neighbor countries. So, if you are interested in Asian countries, do not hesitate or just think about it – just go. Because it is wonderful here 😉
Also, the support and organization from Asia Exchange are very good. Even if you have later some questions or problems they try their best to help you. All in all, if you are looking for an opportunity to go as a free mover for an exchange semester - Asia Exchange is a good choice because they are a reliable organization

Exchange Semester in KL

I've been studying almost 8 years and I finally got courage to go strudy overseas. And damn it was the best choice and time of my life so far. Everything went quite smoothly and that was made sure by Asia Exchange. Everyone got a little trouble with the visa process but it got handled very well and if I understood correctly no one had problems the next semester with it.

This could've not been made any easier by Asia Exchange and they helped us out along the process the best they could. I got everything handled just going by their directions and I didn't forgot anything important home because of their good guide!

As I said the exchange experience was the best time of my life so far. I met incredible people (students, locals, everyone overall), ate the most varied food in many different Asian countries (as I got to travel quite much) and most importantly got better knowledge of my studying field. I always forget to mention something important when I'm listing these things but overall it was awesome experience and would recommend to it for everyone. It was an eye opener and made me realize how awesome traveling is and how you have to just take a one big leap to experience such a great trip.

If you are thinking of going and even alone (as I did), just do it! It feels scary at first but you meet a lot of new cool people on the way and they are in the same situation!

What would you improve about this program?
Can't think of anything currently.

Everyone in the campus were always ready to help and my classmates from Malaysia and from all over the worl made studying also fun. There is so much to see and do in Malaysia that everyone will find something for them. I could have stayed longer.

Amazing study abroad experience

I am currently doing my second semester in Phuket at the Prince of Songkla University and I am more than grateful that Asia Exchange enabled me this great opportunity and experience, the first semester here has been absolutely amazing!
The customer service Asia Exchange and the university provide is simply excellent, for instance, whenever I had a question, they responded immediately or tried to help me out as good as possible.
I met so many awesome people during my time in Thailand and I am more than happy to be able to be here for another semester.

Thank you for making this happen!

Semester

Exchange semester has been great! Studying is relaxed and the culture studies are interesting. Best thing is the people. AsiaExchange is very good and much more international than other programmes. Travelling is also easy to organize and Bali is full of activities. I have tried surfing, diving, yoga etc. Oh and the food! Bali is full of great food. A great place for vegetarians and meat lovers. I can definitely recommend.
