120-hr TESOL

My knowledge of English is enhanced. My basic knowledge is about nouns, pronouns, adjectives, and verbs. I understand Adverb now, also. I also learned that knowing your audience in terms of age, background, culture, and the like is very important when teaching English.

This platform does not interfere with my regular job and day-to-day activities. I can go over the lessons while waiting for my bus or after taking lunch. I just need to set aside 30 minutes to have more focus.

I will recommend this to my colleagues.

This is the first time that I encounter the teaching course from a website that is the best for my teaching career. I hope everyone who wants to be an English teacher looking at this website for a teaching course like this. The course has covered everything in detail for teaching career. Especially, for teacher who doesn't have any experience. To start off a teaching career, as an English teacher needs to be prepared. I'm also looking for a new course to enroll in this website. There are a few more courses that I am interested in. If I have more free time, I will choose TEAL and TEYL for my next courses. It will be better if the courses are discounted for a registered learner.

A good way to enforce what we intuit

The examples shown from the teachers were very inspiring, but it was quite shocking to know that a good teacher must also set their rules and enforce them. I felt inspired and shocked by the example of the teacher who calmly told his students that he would not continue the class.

Excellent Coverage of Teaching Skills and English Language Review

The course format was highly interactive and kept my attention throughout the entire course. In particular, I enjoyed revisiting the grammer and sentance structure pieces which gave me a framework to better understand and teach (what I mostly already knew from long ago in school), but in the context of teaching to non-English speaking learners. The teaching and classroom skills presented were mostly new to me, but presented in way that I found logical, intuitive, and a great learning opportunity. By the end of the course, I felt that I had truly enhanced my knowledge and my confidence. I also thoroughly enjoyed the material. For me, it was an amazing first step to help me plan my next steps in teaching English.

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?
I learned the most about classroom management, teaching skills/technigues, and the various ways students learn based on their appitudes.
Pros
  • Logical presentation of material
  • Interactive sections with helpful videos
What other participants should know
  • Wish there were more videos about adult or teenage learners
  • The content was definitely focused on beginner learners

Most Reasonable & Comprehensive Certificate to Obtain Online

Having recently completed the online TESOL certification from World Tesol Academy, I can confidently say that it stands out as an exceptionally well-structured and valuable program for both aspiring and current English language educators.

The course's greatest strength lies in its perfect balance between depth and clarity. It skillfully covers a comprehensive range of critical teaching methodologies—from foundational grammar instruction to modern communicative approaches like TBL and TTT—without ever overwhelming the student with unnecessary jargon or superfluous details. The content is intensely practical, focusing on real-world classroom techniques that can be immediately applied. This made the learning process highly engaging and far from a mere theoretical exercise.

The presentation of the material was particularly effective. The use of video-based explanations was instrumental in breaking down complex concepts, making them much easier to digest and remember. Furthermore, the key points highlighted within the text, often through bolded fonts and contrasting colors, were incredibly helpful. These visual cues ensured that the most crucial information was unmistakable, greatly aiding in study and revision.

A significant advantage of this online format was the complete absence of time restrictions for each module and exam. This flexibility was not just a convenience; it was a crucial support system. It gracefully accommodated instances of unreliable internet connectivity, a busy personal schedule, or unexpected work commitments, allowing for stress-free learning at my own pace.

I genuinely believe this certification is among the best one can obtain remotely. Its international recognition adds substantial professional value, making it a credible and respected credential for teaching English worldwide.

For future iterations of the course, my one suggestion for enhancement would be the inclusion of live, instructor-led sessions for a few key modules. This would provide an opportunity for real-time interaction, Q&A, and deeper dives into complex topics. Incorporating this element would truly elevate the program from being excellent to arguably the best in its field.

In conclusion, World Tesol Academy provides a thorough, practical, and user-friendly pathway to TESOL certification. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to build or enhance their English teaching skills with a qualification that is both meaningful and adaptable to the demands of modern life.
