I initially started this course just to earn the certificate, but as I progressed through the lessons, I realized how incredibly valuable the content was for my profession. Each lesson proved to be so impactful and insightful that I ended up revisiting all 173 lessons to fully grasp their significance. Although I received my certificate yesterday, I wished the course would never end. I am looking forward to enrolling in another course in the future. The knowledge gained from this 120-hour program exceeded my expectations and was well worth the investment. Thank you, World Tesol Academy, for this remarkable opportunity.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

I will go through the coursework more than 10 times. I was only able to read twice. It was so valuable that I wished I had the resources to pay for the life time package.

The course was very educational. It was also very easy to follow, and was very well thought out. It’s amazing how far this course was able to break down the English language, and make it so easy to understand. I appreciate the opportunity that this course will provide me down the road! If any of my friends are interested in becoming a teacher overseas, I will be sure to recommend this course to them!! I’m currently overseas in Japan and hope that this course will accelerate me into the next phase of my life !!!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

Just stick with it! It’s not as daunting as it may sound! It can be done with some focus and desire. I hope you get as much out of this course as I did!!

At first, I thought it was a scam, but after investigation I came to the conclusion it was a legit course. I got really good answers from tutors and overall, I did learn new concepts and teaching skills. I even passed the assessment with 92% in the first try. I also would like to share this course is really easy, because it is self paced. I have looked for training in other companies and my availability does not meet their standard. It does use vocabulary from England, but it is really easy to get used to.

What would you improve about this program?

I would change some of the vocabulary, since in one of the assessments I got confused with the use of subject. Since subject it is also used as a synonym for topic, not only a person.

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?

the most suprising thing that i did is....i'll xerox all of the lesson from module 1 to the final assessment. even,the exam or test by each module.because, i want to make a memorable for educational content.

It was a great exercise, more like a refresher course as well. At the beginning I was skeptical this would do much but after completing this course I am really ready to start travelling the world and displaying my teaching skills. Thank you for this confidence boosting course!
I am so looking forward to utilizing this course to the fullest. I am now on a journey to find jobs in countries that accept this TESOL certificate. Hopefully, I would love to make not only teaching English but teaching generally as a career.

I am a tutor of English myself and found it essential to obtain a certificate that proves my knowledge. I have found this course easy and comfortable to study. I refreshened my theory knowledge, learnt new things as well.
The course is engaging and encouraging. I loved the percentage taskbar that motivated me not to lose the tempo. I loved the recording of actual lessons with young learners.
The platform is absolutely comfortable. Once I had to contact the support and they were fast and answered as soon as their working hours had started.
The only thing I was lacking is the absence of video examples of work with adults. Everything is more focused on teaching children. But I don’t regret the experience. These were well-spent money. And I am thinking of obtaining more courses on the platform.

The course was well laid out and gave some practical advice and insight on teaching. I'm hoping that my students will benefit from what I've learnt. It was good to relearn and close gaps in my own knowledge pool. I've tutored for many years but it was great to learn how formal educators have found teaching their classes. What was particularly interesting for me was how a classroom needs to run as most of my experience has been with individuals. It also helped me to cement my understanding of how learners learn.

More videos of online teaching as most of the content showed how in class teachers handle their classes.

I had a great time studying for my TESOL certificate through the World TESOL Academy. The information was broken down to be very easily understood. I also appreciated the chat option to speak with a tutor should I become stuck on any give topic, but the delivery was so seamless, I never needed the additional help. The periodic quizzes at the end of each lesson was a pleasant refresher for each new topic covered. My learning experience was a good one, from the course material, to the demo class videos provided, I was expertly guided and trained thoroughly to start my English teaching journey on great standing.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

The only thing I would have changed would be my own approach to the course as I had procrastinated completing it as I was unsure of myself but once I applied myself, I did very well.
