If anyone is thinking of applying to teach in South Korea through EPIK please apply with Korean Horizons. Alistair will go above and beyond for you. He will keep you updated about literally anything so you won’t have to worry about anything. The application process can be a bit stressful at times but he makes everything so much better. Alistair books you into a hotel near the airport so you arrive a day before orientation starts so you get to rest a bit after your flight. He also checks in on you after you’ve landed and throughout your stay in South Korea.

My ratings of my placement are completely unrelated to my ratings of Korean Horizons. My placements gets about a 3.5 but Korean Horizons gets 10/5! Alistair was SO thorough, kind, helpful, reasonable, professional, knowledgeable, and readily available along each step of the process! It was wonderful!
He helped prepare me so well for my interviews, guided me in getting all my required documents & even met me at the hotel room he provided for me!

Korean Horizons is so attentive and will guide you every step of the way. I always recommend it to everyone who asks me how I got my job , that is how much I believe in them. It made my interview process easier. It was like I had someone holding my hand through out. I do not regret using them and I hope I can still use their services later in life. The recruiter keeps his word and when he tells you I will get you that job, you will get it as long as you work with him as a team. So I urge all to use it.

There is a lot I want to share about this amazing program, but I don’t want to sleep here lol. From the first curriculum vitae call to the last interview preparation Skype call, to fetching us at the airport and helping us navigate the complex transport system, to booking a hotel for us so that we can rest before the big day and for keeping in contact and replying to any questions, even to those that might be termed unnecessary. I recommend Korean Horizon to anyone who want to come to SK for the first time or for the tenth time. May they continue to grow abundantly.

Phenomenal service from Alistair, he has excellent communication skills; i don't know how he manages to respond to many people so efficiently. Although the application process is long, he is always there to make the journey easy. The hotel was booked by Alistair for KH candidates only! No other agency offers that. The hotel name was Golden Tulip and there are airport shuttles which are available at no cost that take you to/from the airport. I highly recommend Korean horizons their service exceeded my expectations.

I started my journey August 2023, when I sent Alistair an email because I wanted to apply for EPIK. I had previously seen a video on how Korean Horizons had assisted a lady I knew, from her application to her settling into her apartment. I knew that I had to apply too. Alistair got back to me and the rest is history. He was with me every step of the way. From my application essays and lesson plan, to my interview and arrival to South Korea. He organised a hotel for us to sleep in for our first night in Korea after flying for many hours. He consistently checked in on how our process was going and also kept me in the loop on his side. I never felt alone. I highly recommend Korean Horizons!
P.S There was a little inside joke in one of our group chats where we referred to ourselves as “Father A”’s children!😅

I can not stress enough how Korean Horizons is the best agency to go with. If you admire honesty, thoroughness and integrity. I could not recommend Alistair and Korean Horizons more if you are looking to get into the EPIK programme. His level of knowledge and expertise is unparalleled and he answered all of my questions (both legit and silly) very promptly and professionally. I always felt that I was in safe hands and guided through the process - and given how complicated a lot of the paperwork is I think I would have struggled hugely without Korean Horizons helping along the way.
