Thank you for making this dream possible for me.

Alistair has been absolutely wonderful. The support has been out of this world. Moving abroad and taking this journey without your family and friends can feel lonely and overwhelming at times, but Alistair made sure I never felt alone throughout the process.

He constantly encouraged me to finish my application and submit my documents, and he even checked up on me when he felt I was falling behind or feeling discouraged. That level of care and support truly meant so much to me.

All I can say is wow. I’m incredibly grateful for all the guidance, patience, and encouragement. Thank you for helping make this dream possible.

I love it.

From when I submitted my application to the interview stage to me now being in Korea. Korean Horizons have been with me every step of the way and pushing me and encouraging me to be someone who is always on top of things. They help you prepare well and give solid advice and my favorite part about them is their swift response an if there will be any response delays which I doubt there was they will let you know. Their service is so personalized it feels like I'm the only one they are communicating with.

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?
When we got to orientation and everyone was doing their best to take care of us and accommodate peoples specific needs and also the people who came to join to 10/10 experience would 100% do it again.
Pros
  • Great cultural experience
  • Good support system

Great work environment

I truly appreciate Mr Alistair’s help throughout my application process. I managed to get the job, and everything is just so perfect! I work in two schools, amazing Co teachers, and amazing students! I love it here! I am definitely not planning on leaving anytime soon! I feel so comfortable, and this dream became a reality because of Korean Horizon! It is a great agency and you will never regret applying with this agency! They helped me a lot and they are still helping even though I’m already working in South Korea!

Make that move, it is never too late to start anew

I would definitely recommend this move to anyone, leave your age behind. The application process was well supported by Alistair, with each step clearly explained, and all uncertainties answered. His dedication to finding only the best educators is well reflected and the professional ethics speak volumes.

The benefits offered by the EPIK program are top tier, relieving the worry of unemployment and financial instability behind. The bonus being that you are receiving all these benefits while in a new country, with new people, and a new culture.

What was your funniest moment?
I get lost almost every time I use the subway in Korea, only to wake up and use it one more time. At the rate I am going at, it is not getting any better, but I look forward to it every single time.

Excellent service

If you wish to teach in South Korea, I highly recommend using the Korean Horizon agency. They are professional and provide continuous support and guidance throughout the entire process. From start of my Epik application to my final placement, Korean Horizon was there every step of the way. I also recently used their Gmart services, provided by Alistair, and was impressed by how efficient it was. My package was delivered to my apartment within just 3 days! Great experience with Alistair and he made the whole process less stressful. He was great, insightful, patient and professional and took time to answer any question I had. Thanks for the great service.

Journey to Korea through Korean Horizons

In January, I was on the lookout for a teaching job as a new graduate. I actually stumbled across KH and Alistair introduced me to what the Epik program is about and how to apply. From the first day, he has guided me through each little step and was very patient. A few things I really liked about KH, is that they review your application before finally submitting it so any errors or quality of lesson plans, can be fixed easily. I really appreciated the prepping for the interview, Alistair will sit one on one with you and guide you on the best possible way to answer the questions and a good way to approach presenting your lesson demo! When I say he's patient, I really mean it, my friend and I both applied through him and he was always so nice regardless of all the silly questions we used to ask him haha. One thing about about working with him, he's very on the ball hey, you will definitely be reminded about your documentation all the time and he will be on your case, telling you what you still need and which docs you need to resubmit. Even though it was a little frustrating back then, guess what, now I'm in Korea because of that pushing, cause I know for sure if I applied directly with my level of procrastination, I wouldn't have been with this year's intake 💀 But also mainly, if you are someone who feels overwhelmed or consistently stressed about things, definitely go with KH cause this is a really longgggg process and having someone guide you and constantly update you through it, is very very helpful. Oh yes! KH also offers a service where you can order anything you want and you just pay them back when you get paid! Very convenient for your first month in Korea when you don't have access to a korean bank account with funds or access to purchasing online. Btw I'm loving my city! If you're considering Korea, definitely take that risk. My experience may not be the same as yours but it's worth a try! :)

Best Recruiter

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Alistair from Korean Horizon during my journey to secure a teaching contract through the EPIK program, and I can't emphasize enough how much his dedication and support meant to me. From the very beginning, Alistair was not just a recruiter – he was a true partner in this process, going above and beyond to make sure I was well-prepared, informed, and confident every step of the way.

His expertise and commitment were evident in every interaction we had. He took the time to thoroughly understand my goals, answered all my questions with patience, and provided detailed guidance throughout the entire application process. Even when challenges arose, Alistair was always there with thoughtful advice and practical solutions, ensuring that I never felt lost or alone.

What truly sets Alistair apart is his genuine passion for his work and his sincere desire to help candidates like myself succeed. His efforts not only helped me secure my contract, but they also made the entire experience much more enjoyable and less stressful. He has a remarkable ability to lift the profile of Korean Horizon and ensure that the candidates he works with are set up for success.

I can wholeheartedly say that without Alistair's unwavering dedication, I wouldn't be where I am today. His support has made this process not only successful but also incredibly rewarding. If you're considering working with Alistair or Korean Horizon, rest assured you are in the best hands. I’m proud to be one of his teachers and look forward to making him proud in return.

Thank you, Alistair, for everything you’ve done for me – your kindness, professionalism, and genuine care have made all the difference!
