Wow, where do I begin?
From the moment I was considering teaching in Korea, by sending one simple email of interest, Alistair responded promptly. He arranged a phone call for more clarification, and from there, I knew I would be in good hands.
I am the first person in my family to work abroad. However, Alistair had all of the tips and answers to my questions regarding documents, moving, teaching, etc.
His interview prep was excellent. I felt so confident during my interview (even though it was at 2:00am my time, haha). Once I passed my interview, he was prompt and accurate with any updates about my placement, quarantine, and life in Korea.
When I landed in Korea, I encountered a problem. With just one Kakao message, Alistair was able to help me fix it.
I can 100% say, moving to Korea with the help of Korean Horizons was the best recruitment company to choose, and best decision of my life for my career.
From his personalized emails, to his check-ins, and intro package, I am forever grateful for the support of Alistair.
What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
A few days before my departure to Korea, I experienced impostor syndrome. "Am I really doing this?" "Korea is so far away." "Do I have what it takes to be a good teacher?"
It was no coincidence that Alistair soon after sent an email entitled "To Korea" with loads of helpful information, that gave me the confirmation I needed that I have amazing support, and that I CAN do this.
