Alistair was great at helping me through the whole EPIK process! He made sure I was prepared with my application and interview. He also made sure I was all set before arriving in South Korea. Korean Horizons has a great online community that is very helpful when it comes to information about preparing for interviews. I am grateful for the helping hand that got me here. I am most grateful for the community and friends I have met through Korean Horizons. I am now lucky enough to be able to start my journey officially as an EPIK teacher.

Alistair was very helpful and answered all of my questions in great detail. He helped me prepare every step of the way and when my flight was delayed he even provided a way for me to get to orientation outside of the window EPIK provided. I felt completely taken care of and well informed. It didn't matter what time of day I needed assistance, I was always helped quickly. He helps you practice for the interview with EPIK and gives great feedback.

Korean Horizons is a great support for anyone who's not keen on being a direct applicant for the EPIK programme. Alistair (the man behind the brand) will guide you through every step of the process, and his Facebook group will also help you to make connections with people before you even arrive in South Korea. He's also very friendly in person, so meeting him at the airport was a great relief. Even now that I've been taken to my school and I've moved into my apartment, he has kept in touch with me to make sure I'm okay. If you're interested in teaching in South Korea and you don't know where to start, I would highly recommend Korean Horizons.

I had a great experience with Korean Horizons, specifically with Alistair. He is AMAZING. I appreciate the support and comfort he gave me during my application process. I would have given up a long time ago on the application process if it weren't for Alistair's assistance, he was very supportive and he walked me through all the steps of the application with patience.

You could email Alistair during the middle of the night and he would always help you with everything you need and I am truly thankful for how he helped me.

I highly recommend working with Korea Horizons, I honestly don't think I would have made it to Korea without Alistair's help; considering that I applied around November 2022, had my interview (which Alistair made sure i nail, we had a mock interview) in January 2023 and I flew to Korea mid February 2023.

Alistair, from Korean Horizons, made the complex application process for the EPIK program seem easy. His experience and knowledge of what documents were needed was crucial. The EPIK team welcomed all the teachers in Korea and were helpful and informative throughout the following week of orientation. Orientation was a blast! Got access to good information, the opportunity to make other English speaking friends, go out on excursions and be introduced into the Korean culture. My housing and schools are near to one another (I walk to school) and satisfactory.

Working with Alistair has been such a pleasure, he is consistent, patient and only wants the best for you,, I honestly think that I wouldn’t be here without him. So I 10000% recommend Korean Horizons, because it is like you have a father figure, with you this entire process. We even call Alistair Father A, because he is like a father who wants nothing but the best for his children. And you do not have to feel alone during this entire stressful process, because Father Alistair is with you throughout.

I have only good things to say about my process applying to teach in Korea through Korean Horizons and particularly working with Alistair. He is very thorough, supportive, and works nonstop to help you along the way. His advice for the interview was invaluable. And even now he checks in to see how I am doing. There was a lot of paperwork to complete so it was nice having someone to work with and make sure I was on track. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience and am loving my job/life here in Korea!

I would definitely recommend Korean Horizons to anyone who wants to teach in South Korea. As the process can be very confusing and stressful especially when it came to all the documents for the interview and visa, but Alistair has been amazing from the start. Always answering my questions promptly and helped me throughout the process.
