The recruitment agency was very helpful in every aspect of understanding the program, the document that would be needed, the timeframe, etc. I felt really pleased that I could trust the agency and if I had questions the recruiyer was always available. The recruiter would respond immediately when available and also ensured that should I have any queries I should send an email. Once I got to Korea, he was still available on Kakaotalk, even during quarantine when I phased an issue with my laptop charger.

I was extremely apprehensive about applying to EPIK because I had so many questions at every stage, but Korean Horizons made the process so easy. Alistair was there to answer any and all of my concerns, as well as to guide me step by step through the process. The support didn’t stop there though, Alistair continued to offer guidance after I received my placement and moved into my new home. I am extremely grateful for the help that Korean Horizons and Alistair provided. I would highly recommend!

I truly recommend Korean Horizons with Alistair. I jumped into this without knowing much of the application process and Alistair helped me every step of the way. Through the application, through the interview process, and is still helping after I have arrived in Korea with any questions or things I may need. The application process is long and there is so much paperwork and things that need to get done, and I full-heartedly believe that if it had not been for Alistair's help this whole journey would not have been possible for me, he helped was there ready to answer any questions I may have had without judgment and as quickly as possible. Choosing to apply for EPIK through Korean Horizons was the best decision I made. Although it adds a middle man in the application process, the amount of support that is provided is incredible. Korean Horizons provides so much advice, encouragement and answers emails within 24hours. They are here to help for the entirety of your stay in Korea, not just to get you there, and guide you through each part of the process step by step so you do not get overwhelmed too quickly. I am so grateful for everything Korean Horizons has done to make this process as smooth as possible.

I had been wanting to teach overseas for a few years now but I wasn’t sure how to get started with it. After I took my TEFL course, I ended up applying to teach English in Korea through Korean Horizons. I am really glad I made that decision! Alistair has been extremely helpful in the whole process—from double checking my application and documents, to providing a lot of guidance for the interview and preparation to go to Korea. I applied on my own to EPIK the first time and didn't even get an interview. On my second try, I used Korean Horizons and had so much guidance and support from Alistair Wery from Day 1. Like others, I really don't think I would have been able to make it without his advice and help in preparing for my application and interview. However, Alistair's help did not end after my acceptance into EPIK. Alistair continues to reach out and check in on me, as well as offer a delivery service while I wait for my bank account and ARC to be set up. All of this is so comforting and helpful when you've just moved to another country. :) Furthermore, one thing I really liked about working with Korean Horizons was that even if you did not get accepted into EPIK, Alistair still shared public schools you could directly apply to. It was nice to know that if I did not make it into EPIK, I still had some backup options thanks to Korean Horizons! I have a few friends who are considering applying to EPIK in the future and with all of them, I have told them again and again to apply through Korean Horizons! Thank you Alistair!

As a first timer doing this i cannot stress how much Alistair and Korean Horizons has helped me in this journey!! I dont know if i would have even made it this far without Alistair's help!! He was very helpful with everything i needed!! I am able to live my dream thanks to this program!!! I highly reccomend especially going through KH!! I am really glad that I selected Korean Horizons to assist with my EPIK application. Alistair was really helpful and thorough in his guidance, always showing that he's a very knowledgeable recruiter. I went through Korean Horizon for some extra support for the EPIK application process. I'm happy that I went through Korean Horizon because Alistair, makes sure to keep you on your A-game. He is straightforward and tells you what you need to hear to improve your application or anything throughout the process. He's always quick to respond when you email him a question. Once you make it to Korea he is still a very much a strong support system for you. I definitely recommend Korean Horizon if you want a recruiter who will help you every step of the way and make sure you settle into Korea during your first year.

I chose to apply to EPIK via Korean Horizons after seeing other recommendations online and I am incredibly happy I did. If you have never lived or taught abroad before, the process can be confusing but Alistair makes it all simple and straightforward. From the very moment you apply Alistair is on the ball to get you to where you need to be. His communication is excellent and he has always been there to guide his applicants - I have never had to wait longer than 24 hours for a response to any question or query. Working with Korean Horizons also gives you the added benefit of undertaking a mock interview to prepare you for your EPIK interview - this is not something you will find with many other agencies - but gives you an incredible advantage throughout the competitive process. By working with KH you can also expect in country support when you finally make it to Korea - Alistair has been with us all of the way and continues to offer his support. If you are looking for someone you can trust to get you to Korea via EPIK or other public school routes within the country, I would not look any further than KH.
