I enjoyed the course very much and will recommend it to friends and family because I believe that it is very beneficial. The teachers on the course were great and very helpful, and my peers were also great to be in the course with and I think I will keep in touch with them in the future to see how their TEFL work is going. I also think that the course being online was okay even though at first their were some technical difficulties. However with perseverance I have completed it and I couldn't be happier.

I really enjoyed the course, it does stretch your mind though at the same time.

Which is really important, because if it was really easy it wouldn't be a good course.

You'll get a lot of experience of teaching the fellow students with you to get more comfortable with teaching in front of groups.

You'll get help rerunning over grammar and tenses if you are rusty on them.

There are very good lessons and assignments on lesson planning, from new words, dialogue which are really great.

Trust me, you’ve made the right choice in choosing Destination TEFL. Right from the first activity you feel like part of a team and comfortable enough to interact with your classmates who you’ve literally just met.

The trainer gets everyone totally involved in all activities without having to try too hard at all, Tina (the trainer) is always smiling and energetic. She is one of the most patient teachers I’ve met, making sure that no student is left behind. Willie (The President!) is the on-site tech guru, making sure that we don’t have any issues with the application etc. Kathryn (Director) also jumps in from time to time and mixes it up a bit which is great. This gives us the opportunity to learn from a different type of teacher (if you think Tina is energetic then wait until you meet Kathryn)!! 😉

‘We celebrate mistakes’ is one of their mottos, encouraging us to answer questions without being judged. This has really given me a safe environment to try and answer questions.

Even though I attended the Virtual course; apart from a couple of screen freezes and robotic voices you don’t feel like you're thousands of miles away.

I highly recommend this course! Once the current situation is under control and travel restrictions have been lifted, we head over to Siem Reap for our teacher practicals. I can’t wait!

It was a great course for getting into and learning about what can be expected when becoming a TEFL teacher. Helped to understand what the students will feel and what they will be expecting. Great practice in setting up lesson plans to make the class go as smooth as possible. Helped a lot with nerves and to help overcome "stage fright". It was helpful as a refresher of the English that might have been forgotten over the years since last being used. The group was great ans supportive and always made sure a mistake was just a way to learn.

The past 3 weeks have been an amazing journey with the virtual online TEFL course. The trainer is absolutely brilliant and ensures for a fun class.

I think it was great that emails and assignments were graded and commented on and returned to me in no time. Everyone from the course was super helpful and friendly and was ready to assist with anything.

The material provided was clear and informative. We had enough time to practice with our peers and to get comfortable with the information we were being taught.

The plan was to do the course in Siem Reap but then 3 days before we were suppose to leave the lock down was announced. Thanks to Destination Tefl whom created the Virtual Online "face to face" classroom it was possible for us to do the 3 week, 120 hour course in the safe comfort of our homes. To me it's not only a course, it's an INVESTMENT. The tutors are absolutely amazing with so much patience and help. Every day was a highlight. Something to carry with you anywhere. I"ll recommend this Virtual Course any day anytime. Great thanks to Willie, Tina and Kathryn. You made this all possible and worth every dollar. Salute.

I have really enjoyed the Destination TEFL course, a little daunting at first but with effort and great coaching from the Destination TEFL teaching team I have qualified as an online teacher. The course offers tons of learning material and plenty of needed practice; I can definitely recommend this course to all potential teachers. Initially I was supposed to do the course at Destination TEFL premises, but with global lockdown the curriculum was amended to an online format. The amended online course was as challenging and rewarding as a personal experience. Thank you to all at Destination TEFL, YOU ROCK!

Take as many notes as possible and ask as many questions as possible. Just remember that they celebrate mistakes and are more to welcome to help you with any thing you want to ask. Just make sure that you have internet connection that is stable and that you don't miss any thing or you will not have any idea what goes on in the class. Don't stress to much it"s easy to say that but be yourself and enjoy the team and your teammates for they are the once that is going to pull you through.Just remember that team work helps a lot

If you have stumbled upon Destination TEFL, look no further. This is not just an online course but an interactive virtual classroom. You can interact with peers and teachers as if you were in a real classroom. I never thought learning could be so fun but i was very wrong. In the comfort of my own home I made new friends, learned a lot and most of all had fun!

Destination TEFL condones mistakes which makes this even better because we are all there to learn so by making a mistake you are corrected in a proper technique and you won't make those mistakes again. Full interactive explanations on how to do everything!

I had an absolutely amazing time! The people running the course and hotel are the nicest people and were always there to help us and assist when we needed. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that wants to get out and explore the world and would recommend to anyone that feels like expanding on there knowledge of teaching. From doing this course I’ve learnt so many new skills that I was able to add onto some of my previous knowledge.
Siem reap is also a great City for the course to take place because I feel it’s a pretty small city and it slowly acclimates you to the Cambodian culture.
