So I have recently just finished this course and could bot be happier. I already had a level 5 TEFL but doing something online and having the actual practical experience in a classroom is completely different.
It is more like joining a new family than doing a course. All the staff are exceptional and very supportive.
It is hard work dont get me wrong, but everything they do has purpose to prepare you for the realities of being a teacher.
I've now finished feeling like I could confidently teach anywhere.

The course was wonderful and the instructor (Georgie) is very experienced. The course was also a challenge as it includes theory, practical teaching techniques and teaching practice. I strongly recommend this course if you wish to complete a TESL course with a strong practical component. Bali is a wonderful destination to complete the course as the people are very welcoming. The course is also a great place to meet fellow teachers from all around the world (and they will become your friends :) It’s worth doing a bit of research on grammar rules before you start the course, just so you can revise some of the key concepts before the TEFL course starts.

I was really happy to have the experience of doing a TEFL program abroad. The course was in a very nice part of Bali, calm, cultured, and not overly touristy. It is close enough to the major tourist spots that you can go on the weekend still. The course instructor Georgie was extremely personable and a great teacher. She really knows how to teach and breaks down the different aspects of teaching. There was a great sense of camaraderie among the class and it allowed me to make friends that will last. I will say, it is pretty UK heavy. Being from the US, I was the "different" one.

I had so much fun doing this course. I had great support from my teacher and had support and feedback every step of the way.

Living and working in Bali was an amazing experience and I cannot recommend this enough. Bali is a beautiful country and has soooooo much to offer!!!!!

I had a great set of peers whom I have made a great bond with, which made the intensity of the course a lot easier.

You get to spend one Friday of the course doing cultural activities which allowed the team to bond.

After completing my level 5 TEFL diploma at an online academy i felt like i was still lacking in a lot of ways. I could not have been more excited when i found Destination TEFL!
They have the best fast track option that adds you to the program for the last 2 weeks to learn all about and take part in classroom practicals. Without Destination TEFL i would not have been ready to start my teaching career.
The tutors, Tina and Chy, are amazing! They are always ready to help you no matter what the question and give such good feedback for you to learn from and to grow.

Course content and delivery were excellent in preparing me to step into the mad world of English language teaching abroad. The course tutor Georgie was fantastic from day 1, making the whole class feel welcome but also pushing us each day to strive for greatness. The tutoring was great and I have greatly benefitted from the content teachings and the practical element of the course was great for preparing you to step into a real classroom for the first time. I'm very grateful to all involved in the process and would highly recommend to anyone looking to start a new venture in TEFL to study this course in Bali.

After an exhaustive online search, I stumbled upon Destination TEFL Siem Reap and knew that I had found the TEFL programme that was perfect for me.
From the beginning they gave detailed and honest answers to my many questions which immediately made me feel at ease.
As soon as we had our virtual meeting/Q&A session I was ready to pack my bags and head to Cambodia for the adventure of a lifetime.
The course can be demanding as it packs a lot into four weeks but if you apply yourself, keep on top of your assignments and are well prepared for your teaching practicals, you will succeed.
Along with the hard work you will definitely have time for fun and adventure as you discover more about yourself and the new country you will soon call home.
The Destination TEFL staff and trainers are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. They will guide and encourage you to do your best. The bonds that you form and experiences you share with your fellow trainees will provide you with memories to last a lifetime.

I had a great experience with Destination TEFL! The course was challenging but very rewarding. The course curriculum is thorough and there’s a lot to pack into the four weeks. The workload can be quite intense at times, especially if you’re new to teaching like myself, but the Destination TEFL staff were supportive throughout. I really enjoyed the teaching practicums at a local Balinese school which gave me a real taste of what teaching will be like. Our trainer, Georgie, was a great teacher and we all got on really well as a group.

The course takes place in Sanur which has a nice chilled vibe and beautiful beaches. I was pleased to be somewhere with a relaxed environment and away from some of the temptations of the busier backpacker hotspots. Having said that, popular spots like canggu or Ubud are only a short taxi ride away if you want to explore the rest of Bali during the course.

Overall, I had a great experience with Destination TEFL and made some great friends along the way. I now feel ready to start my teaching career. Highly recommended!

If you're thinking of doing a TEFL abroad Destination TEFL is the way to go! I did the Bali course. Such a personal experience from beginning to end, with all the staff very responsive to any questions and so helpful.
Georgie, the course trainer, is amazing. She has so much experience and is very helpful and encouraging! She went above and beyond for all of us, and took time to get to know us all. She covered so much content in the 2 weeks of the fast track course. There was an in person placement in a local school and I was a bit nervous having the other people on the course watch my lessons and give feedback, but Georgie made it a safe space to share feedback with each other.
Destination TEFL recently moved from Canggu to Sanur, which I was initially disappointed with as I thought I'd be going to Canggu. However Sanur is the perfect place to do the course. It's that bit quieter which is ideal for getting work done. Cheaper than other places on the island too.
Great for making friends and I've made forever friends on the course from all over the world of all ages!
I have an online TEFL certificate and I'm a licensed primary school teacher so I did the 2 week fast track. But to be honest, I would highly recommend the full 4 weeks. There were so many gaps in my knowledge that the online TEFLS don't cover. Fast track is cheaper, but if you have the money you should do the full course, it will stand to you!

The trainer Tina is a wonderful educator, I don't have enough good words to describe her. Make no mistake, this course is difficult, you will need to use your time wisely. Nothing that is worth anything is easy! Buckle down, do the work, make some great friends from around the globe, and enrich the lives of wonderful children.
