I have really enjoyed learning Mandarin at LTL Shanghai. Everyone is really nice and wants to help you learn. I especially am grateful to my teachers Jamie老师，包老师，and 高老师! Jamie is very kind and fun. She helped me improve my speaking by a lot. 包老师 helped me with properly learn radicals and characters. 高老师 taught me many business terms, Chinese culture, and also sayings/vocabulary relevant to my major. Overall, I am very grateful to the teachers and everyone who has helped to make this program possible!

Learning with Lin and Tang 老师 for 2 weeks has vastly improved my language abilities in Chinese. LTL Chengdu has a welcoming and friendly environment which allows for both group learning and meeting new people. The school is right in the fray of Chengdu, near local restaurants and massive malls with everything you could need. I found the individual classes to be particularly useful.

I strongly recommended coming here if you want to improve your Chinese in along with other interesting and motivated people.

This was my second time back at LTL, and it did not disappoint! Everything is run so well. The administrative staff is friendly and welcoming. The teachers are knowledgeable and patient. I had Sissy as my teacher, and she was incredible. She really took the time to get to know us and kept the lessons interesting. She always found a way to relate each topic back to our lives, which kept me from dozing off during class.

Not to mention, LTL is in Da'an, right between Taipei 101 and Da'an Park. If you've never been to Taiwan before, this is the perfect location — easy access to both metro lines, and it's just a fun, lively place to be.

I highly, highly recommend studying at LTL. I'll absolutely be going back again.

An absolutely amazing experience. A wonderful host family, an outstanding teacher, Chien-Yi Lin, excellent communication throughout via WhatsApp, and great flexibility before the trip, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Beyond the language learning, the warmth, kindness, and generosity of everyone we met made this a truly memorable experience. My child gained confidence, independence, and cultural openness. We highly recommend this program to any family looking for a meaningful and enriching experience abroad.

This was my second visit to LTL chengdu and the words that best described it is it felt like “coming to my second home”. Last year I only spent a week at LTL however when returning this year, everybody made me feel so welcome again and like a part of the LTL family.

In the past I have visited many language schools, however nothing compares to my experience here. It is all because of the people. We had a wonderful teacher named Panpan who I cannot describe in words. You would need to be present in the classroom to fully understand because she is the definition of an intelligent, funny and kind teacher. I am a complete beginner and sometimes I got confused, yet Panpan managed to explain everything and still made sure I didn’t feel behind my other classmates. Thank you Panpan!! Last year, we were taught by Unicorn who is also the great definition of a perfect teacher as well as a very caring person who made sure we don’t feel overwhelmed and both of them will forever remain as great mentors and friends to us. Alll of the class agreed that we would love to return next year and study together once again.

I was also very lucky to meet with Alex, who welcomed us and always made sure to recommend to us all the fun activities in Chengdu and beyond. Same thanks goes out to Stiles! And a very important mention goes to the director of studies teacher Ying, who we were very happy to see after the year and had great conversations with. Thank you!!

All in all my experience at LTL was the definition of the best time spent. Learning whilst making great friends and discovering the culture is the best! Thank you to Panpan, Unicorn, Teacher Ying, Alex and Stiles. And I cannot wait to return next year!

Honestly such a brilliant experience! I have been here for five weeks and have five more to go and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. Everyone is so inviting and inclusive and there is a really good atmosphere to learn while having fun! I have two wonderful teachers, as-well as other staff that that are super kind who organise awesome events! I was not sure what I was going to expect coming to the centre, but I honestly could not rate it higher. I would definitely consider coming back for another stint.

I spent two weeks studying Chinese at LTL Chengdu, and I honestly had an amazing time. It was my second time there, and I already know that I want to come back again.

I am still a beginner, and vocabulary is the hardest part for me. Sometimes I knew what I wanted to say but could not find the right words. Panpan was always very patient and made sure I never felt bad or embarrassed about it. She helped me express myself and made me feel like a real part of the class.

I also loved that our lessons were not only about Chinese. We talked about life in China, cultural differences, geography, food and many other things. These discussions were probably my favourite part because they helped me understand China in a much more personal way. Panpan is very kind, funny and definitely the right person to be a teacher!!!!!!

One of the best moments was our trip to a small mountain city with Panpan and my classmates. It was extremely fun, and seeing the Chinese countryside was something that had been on my bucket list for a long time.

I also really enjoyed spending time with Teacher Ying, Unicorn, Alex and Stiles. They were all super kind, and I felt like I could tell them anything. I loved talking, eating and spending time with them, and they made my experience at LTL much more special.

The whole school has a very friendly atmosphere. I met people from all over the world, made new connections and hopefully some friends for life. I especially enjoyed going for lunch or dinner together after school. I was on the group class plan, so I still had at least half of the day to explore Chengdu.

I learned a lot during these two weeks, but the friendships and memories are probably what I will remember the most. For me, learning Chinese in China is definitely the most effective and enjoyable way to do it.

I had an excellent experience studying at this Chinese language school in Beijing. The classes were well organized, engaging, and tailored to students of different levels, making it a great place to improve your Mandarin.
A special thank you to my teacher, Tara, who made a huge difference in my learning journey. She is patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly encouraging. Her lessons were always well prepared, interactive, and practical, helping me build both confidence and fluency. She explained difficult grammar in a simple way and created a welcoming classroom environment where everyone felt comfortable participating.
I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn Chinese in Beijing. If you have the opportunity to study with Tara, you're in excellent hands!
