I have joined my Chinese study course for 2 month, and I feel Chinese is very hard for me at first few days, I almost want give up halfway, but I found our teacher very patient to everyone,they always helped us on in times of difficulty and now I am alive with pleasure.

What would you improve about this program?

now I can talk with my Chinese new friend in some simple words ,However I speak very slowly

MyChinese Study is definitely a good choice for those who wants to learn Chinese in a easy and fun environment. Teachers here are not only helpful and patient in teaching, but also very hospital at sharing experiences such how would locals react to certain circumstances, where locals would go, tips of travelling around in China and so on. MyChinese Study is not only a class where you learn a language, it is a great immediate helps you blend into Chinese culture.

What would you improve about this program?

Simply love here.
Arrange some gathering might be terrific. :p

I think I had a good experience in My Chinese Study school ,there is some good teachers, such as my teacher ECHO and others, who created learning atmosphere and comfortable invironment for me,I want to thanks them very much.The school in SANLITUN,closed to my apartment and safe.

What would you improve about this program?

The school have less campuses，so I can't recommand it to my firends who lived quite far from my apartment.

I like the teachers here very much, they are professional and interesting. Study in here, you will find much fun of Chinese learning. The consultants are always helpful. If you have any questions about everything, ask them and you will find a solution. Safe cozy comfortable appartment and classrooms make you feel at home and school in your motherland.

What would you improve about this program?

If teachers could find a way for foreign students to memorize the new words in a more effective way, it will be perfect

The school is very good! I reallr have enjoyed learning from my teacher, she's excellent! I will recommend the class to my peers and if when I do come back to Beijing, I will sure to continue my Chinese studies with the school.

I am Kim from Korea.I studied for 1 month last year,I choose the intensive 30 course.In the afternoon, I felt a little tired.But happy to see that from total beginner to speak conversational Chinese after 1 month. The staff there is nice.

What would you improve about this program?

Maybe afternoon, more oral practice, not too much pressure.

Why did you decide to study abroad with My Chinese Study?

My friend recommended this school to me. She went through this program but couldn't stay there because of her own schedule. When I planned to come to Beijing to spend the summer, my friend recommended Sanlitun area and My Chinese Study. Because she lived here before, she liked the night life, transportation, and everything.

What made this study abroad experience unique and special?

The school was located in the Sanlitun area, which is very popular among young and fashionable people. There were bookshops, restaurants, banks, bars, and even supermarkets selling American food. Beijing is an amazing city - both modern and traditional. I liked the Hutong area and the modern lifestyle that lets me live very comfortably here. The school is also very accommodating. In fact, they even went with me to the bank to exchange the money.

How has this experience impacted your future?

I was invited to two events: a kite-making event, and a dragon boat festival event. I was very impressed by Chinese culture and the spirit of all the people who attended!

What did My Chinese Study do for you and what did you need to do on your own?

The school helped me to find an apartment, and also tailored a curriculum especially for me. I travelled around Beijing by myself, and also went to Xi'an and Shanghai! Xi'an is a must-see city that everyone should go to.

Describe your program socially and academically.

I enrolled in the class of General 15 and had an additional private lesson every day that met for four hours every day from Monday to Friday. I joined the small group from level 1. At first, we used to have to refer to the book of survival Chinese. However, we soon learned the very practical topics from the beginning.

At my private lesson, my teacher would give me some practice on pronunciation and writing basic characters.

Describe your favorite must-have food that you tried abroad.

Try Peking roast duck! It is a MUST have food in Beijing.

Did you run into any language barriers? Did you ever think you knew more or less of the language?

At present, my language level is not very high, and sometimes I do run into a language barrier. As an artist, the "artist language" itself can sometimes make up for this. I thought I knew more of the language than I really did, but found out quickly I knew less due to the cultural difference.

Describe your most meaningful souvenir and why you love it?

A guide book from the school which guided my life in Beijing and China.
