What is your favorite travel memory?

The most beautiful place I have ever been to is Little Corn Island at the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua. This island has no streets and no cars and endless beaches. I lived in a hut, which was built of bamboo and straw and spent the days picking pineapples, coconuts, and lemongrass myself.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I am rather new in my current company, but I make sure that I am giving my best every day and help every applicant and partner to find the best solutions. I learned to work under pressure, with deadlines and having a good time management.

Which destination is most underrated? Conversely, which is most overrated?

Most underrated is the Sichuan Province in China’s South-West, because it has such a beautiful landscape (Emei Shan, Leshan Buddha, Jiuzhaigou National Park, Chengdu Bamboo Park) and endless sights. It is a perfect place to experience Southern Chinese culture and the food is more than amazing. Most overrated is Macao, because the city is actually just for gamblers beside a few sights from the time of the former colony. One day is definitely enough!

What unique qualities does your company possess?

In our team, we are all 100% convinced that we are doing an important job to connect the East and the West, through helping Chinese kids to enjoy good education and future teachers getting unforgettable experiences, which will help them to think out of the box.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

When I helped the first teacher to come to China, I felt very proud. It showed me that I did a good job, and applicants trust me and our partner schools.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

In my opinion, success depends on efforts the employees make. The harder someone works, the more the company will be successful. Therefore an important point is to be fully convinced of the idea of the company and having a great leader who encourages instead of punishing.
