About Program
Hessen International Summer University is a four-week summer program with intensive German language courses and academic seminars in the fields of business and accounting, peace and conflict studies, Middle Eastern Studies and German Studies.
The compulsory program elements include:
Language courses — courses are 45 contact hours and are taught in small groups, offered at various levels
Two academic seminars
One-week supplement course on German culture and politics
Three-day field trip to Strasbourg
One-day weekend trip — more field trips will be offered, and students are welcome to participate in all trips at no extra cost
