About Program
Our 2 year graduate course of specialization in Medieval Biblical studies is inspired by the Baccalaureatus Biblicus course at the University of Paris in the mid 13th Century. During the 2 year cycle, you will take 120 credit hours of course work, which will take you through the specialized analysis of Patristic, Late Classical and Medieval texts and authors, reading them in the Latin, in translation and learning to use the original Manuscripts. The program is designed for those desiring to prepared themselves for a career in Academia. Course work includes class participation, assignments and term papers. The topics of study include historical, critical and textual studies of ecclesiastical writers from the Pre-Nicene to the High Middle Ages.
