About Program
ArchaeoSpain field school in Rome. The Necropolis of Via Ostiense provides students and people passionate about History and Archaeology with the opportunity to excavate at an archaeological site in the heart of Rome.
Participants will be taking part in the research project, working along archaeologists and anthropologists excavating incinerated human remains and other artifacts.
Seminars on Anthropology and excursions to catacombs and cemeteries will complete the immersion in funerary rituals in ancient Rome.
