During the first week, students will be given induction and orientation training and
thereafter training will commence according to the departmental schedule.
The students attend theoretical classroom lectures in one department before being
placed in industry in that specific department: for example – two months theory in Food
and Beverage, then two months theory in Food preparation and Cooking, followed by
placement in industry in the Food and Beverage department and Kitchen, including
restaurant, room service, bar, banqueting, etc. for the following 7 months practical.
Students gain qualifications and work experience in all four of the operational
departments before doing the Management Diploma in their final year.

About Program

On completion of this 3-year qualification the students will have studied and worked in all operational areas of the Hotel industry over a three year period. A minimum of one year is workplace experience in top establishments.
