About Program
Located in the vibrant Gràcia district of Barcelona, IED Barcelona offers an innovative study abroad experience at one of Europe’s leading design institutions. Courses are taught in English and welcome several hundred study abroad students from more than 100 countries, creating a highly international and collaborative environment. Students study in state-of-the-art classrooms, studios, and specialized labs for fashion, textiles, accessories, and design, where creativity, technology, and entrepreneurship come together. From the city’s modernist landmarks and Mediterranean coastline to its dynamic creative industries, students gain inspiration while building a global perspective and expanding their design portfolio in one of the most exciting design capitals.
SAI oversees and coordinates all aspects of student enrollment, including application processing, course selection and credit, housing, visa advising, student health insurance, and transcripts.
