About Program

Immerse yourself in university life while studying at UC Berkeley for a semester or academic year.

International students take courses alongside Berkeley students while building leadership skills. Through this study-abroad program, you can choose courses from the UC Berkeley course catalog according to your interests. You can continue earning credits toward your degree, refine your English skills and gain a rich cultural experience.

When not in class, you are free to explore downtown Berkeley, an arts and entertainment district offering cinemas, live theater and music. San Francisco is just a 20-minute ride away, Silicon Valley is one hour south, and sights such Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park are all within reach.
