It was an amazing journey. Every day 1 to 15 is so good for me. I have learn more new things and strategies or mythology. It's was a good way to grow a futer ,or improve status in the front of people .this is also help to improve skill or getting good skills. My trainer Mrs. Anamika mukheerje is very good , confident and cooperative. She always help me or students in every field. She teach all things very well.my trainee method of teaching is good I should apply in further futer, I can fell good to do this course I learn new things. After this course I want to do a job in abroad as well as I want become a language teacher

What would you improve about this program?

It was good, there is no need for improvement.

Enlightening experience.learnt various innovative techniques of teaching English to foreign learners especially tefl who are language deficient. The highlight of the program is its 120 hrs in class training .The teaching practice was also very helpful. I never knew that using gestures was so vital for teaching to language deficient learners. The first session on foreign language experience is my most memorable experience in the entire program . I learnt few words of Setswana language in few minutes just by observing gestures.

What would you improve about this program?

Include lessons from native English speakers

It is a great course for people who opt for teaching as there career. ACT is a great institution to get tefl course. Learned various teaching methodologies. Got first hand experience at foreign language learning and language aqusition. Had a experience of life time . It has given me a direction in my life. Made my journey towards being a teacher easy and smooth .
I would like to recommend it to people who are interested in teaching

It was a great experience... it will have a great impact on my life... as i have a residecy from spain..when i apply for job in spain..they demand me for tefl or tesol...so i come here...and after this i will be a account teacher in spain.....it will really chage my life...fantastic course!!!!!there are lots of memories selfie with teacher and peer teac ,fun with peer...at last my anamika mam she was really cute n adorable n amiable...i really enjoyed the course...

What would you improve about this program?

There is no need for improvement..

Getting enrolled in act was one of the best decisions i have made. I found it a step ahead to my career plans. The trainers and coordinators are good to work under. I found this journey quite enriching and meeting up to my expectations. I hope this kind of experience and exposure will lead me to something good. I would strongly recommend this course to everyone and experience the enrichment offered by it.

What would you improve about this program?

Duration could be a little longer

The journey throughout the course was full of knowledge, learning new methods and techniques for teaching to young learners and adults. The quality of the course is good.course material is helpful and the Trainer has been supportive throughout the course. In case of job assistance, I guess, the course is not helpful to my expectations. At least in last week of the course, for two days it should be devoted to job assistance only because we are here for getting better jobs.

What would you improve about this program?

By designing a curriculum with set Time table else the trainer doesn't cover 120 hours.

I joined the ACT family on 6th Nov2017, I must say this has been one of the best decisions that I have taken.I have learnt so much during this course and I feel my skills as a teacher have enhanced. The instructors are very helpful and approachable. Here at ACT ,I got exposure to hands-on teacher training, which was a very wonderful experience, where we went to different schools to teach English. The curriculum followed is very effective . I strongly recommend TEFL/TESOL from ACT.

The course elements were good, but I thought we could go into more details on some topics. The teaching practice experience was quite helpful in gaining confidence as a teacher. Although the first experience at a govt. School was quite jarring.
Altogether I do believe I have been equipped well enough to start teaching. Yet,there is much more to learn.
I am thankful for the all over experience, though I do think it is over priced.

What would you improve about this program?

By decreasing the cost. And increasing the everyday value of the activities. Also by only taking in students who are already proficient in English, otherwise it is a waste of time.

I learnt many warmers that could be used to energise a class instantly. One could also learn various techniques to teach listening, reading, writing and speaking to language deficient learners.

Why did you choose this program?

It's my dream to travel around the world. Basically I'm a commerce student (mcom). If I choose an accounting job, any other job I can't fullfill my dream. Teaching is my passion, so I decided to teach and travel around the world. I'm sure that this program is the best way to fullfill everyone's dream.

What did your program provider (or university) assist you with, and what did you have to organize on your own?

ACT helps every students to improve their communication skills and also they provide advanced technology, methodology to their students. Our trainer Is also a talented person; she helps me so much to clear my doubts without hesitation. If I can do my own, I should help the students to achieve their dreams.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?

My advice is to my friends who are going to do this course is that, if you have strong passion for teaching, you can succeed; otherwise, never do this course. This course is a big platform for those who dream to go abroad and teach. It is also a challenging program. Do what you make happy and follow your heart.

What does an average day/week look like as a participant of this program?

If you are studying in ACT, punctuality is a must. Wake up early and going to class on time is very important. Every day we are eagerly waiting to do new activities and pair works. There are lot of activities and group work given by our trainer that are very useful for improving our ability to teach and handling the students.

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

I don't have any experience because I never go abroad. If I get a chance to go abroad, my biggest fear will be independence because I live in a joint family; I never visited any place without my parents. But I believe I can overcome this situation for making new friends and colleagues. Face situations with courage and confidence.

Do you have a favorite story abroad?

I don't have any favourite story to share, sorry for that. I think, don't go abroad with fears. Just enjoy your profession and travel around the world . Set your mind before going to abroad; face the challenges and accept their culture; obey the rules don't make it complicated. Respect elders. Thank you.

She has 8+ years of extensive work experience in New Zealand, Thailand and India with a National Certificate in Social Services as well as Out of School Supervision Certificates conducted by New Zealand's Ministry of Social Development.

What is your favorite travel memory?

Although I have traveled to few countries in the world and immigrated too, however, till date my all time favorite travel memory is when I had visited Thailand in the year 2009. It was almost as if I was in love with that place instantly and secretly wished to work in Thailand. By God's grace, my dream came true through Asian College of Teachers. As TEFL trainer, my job demands traveling and training in different locations and I have been traveling to Bangkok on and off for the same. Exotic locales of Thailand, friendly and ever smiling people, amazing hospitality, unlimited variety of food and a paradise for the shopaholics, make my travels to Thailand an evergreen one, always.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

There are many factors that come into play in being a successful company. However, I believe that the biggest factor is innovation along with good marketing strategies. Although success, however we choose to define it, is a continuous work in progress. Most importantly, in a company where people work as 'WE' than 'I', it is creating more compelling and enriching future.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have not only changed but also grown since working for Asian College of Teachers. Changed in terms of being more confident, efficient and most importantly in skill building. Definitely I see myself to have grown as an effective communicative trainer and people's manager, from what I used to be fours years back.

What unique qualities does your company possess?

The leadership team of every good company has a great ambition for the company. Asian college of Teachers (ACT) offers the same, meet customer needs, relentless attention to execution (not only the products but in customer service too) and offers flexibility to all its employee, which makes ACT a great place to work for.

Describe a time when you felt especially proud to be part of your current team.

There is not a time where I felt proud to be a part of an efficient team but quite a few moments where I have felt the same. To be able to recognize employee's talent and efficiency is culture and a ritual that is effectively practiced in ACT. Whenever my hard and smart work have been appreciated, it goes without saying that it has simply boosted my self confidence, helped further to speed up my efficiency and planted the seed to learn and grow more.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

The best story so far what I have heard is when a student claims how ACT has touched its life and has helped to transform. The best of the best part is, when a student expresses to be a part of ACT as an employee or to work as a partner.
