Teach Japan

Japan is an amazing country with a very unique culture and way of life. There is a mix of modern and traditional combined and every place is different. I would recommend walking around and exploring as much as possible in your area, you will find little unique shops (a lot of them food) are all over the place. If you can, explore different cities and places outside of where you live, as each city and province is different from the next. The climate, traditions, food, and way of life vary and change across Japan, so each place has new things to see and learn.

Pros
  • Lots to see and do
  • Amazing food
  • The kids are always so excited to have an ALT
Cons
  • Must cover tattoo's and some piercings
  • Schedules can change last minute
  • If you are not use to public transport, it can be a bit overwhelming to start with
