Salary / Benefits
Participants receive a competitive monthly salary starting at approximately ¥215,000 JPY, with opportunities for increases depending on placement and experience. Additional benefits include housing arranged prior to arrival, transportation reimbursement for commuting, national health insurance, paid leave in accordance with the employment contract, comprehensive training, and ongoing support from RVF International throughout the application, visa, and relocation process.

The program fee covers RVF International's personalized support throughout your journey to Japan, including eligibility screening, application guidance, resume and interview preparation, document and visa assistance, pre-departure preparation, and ongoing support before your departure. This fee does not include housing costs, airfare, or other personal living expenses. Once employed, participants receive a competitive monthly salary from their employer, allowing them to earn an income while living and working in Japan.

What is your favorite travel memory?

The Historic district of Luang Prabang in Laos. One would think that I´d say a popular destination like Bangkok or London or Paris but Luang Prabang caught me off guard. It was this inconspicuous tiny place, humble in so many ways and chill that I fell in love with it. You can walk from one end to the other in within an hour, at night, one street turns into a market. Food is wonderful, simple and cheap. I think I fell in love with it because its not too tainted with the touristy culture yet and I hope it stays that way.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

From the get go, I´ve been given the space to learn new things, and now that learning is turning into something that makes the company or my workmates´ daily tasks a bit easier by eliminating manual repetitive tasks which is something I enjoy doing. I´ve gained confidence in what I do and to voice out what more can be done for improvement for having a supportive environment that learns from each other.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

Students, plural. That they end up falling in love with Spain and decided to stay longer for a job or something else. More than getting to know the culture, the food, the weather, knowing that they´ve found something worth staring for, no matter what that reason may be, we´re happy to know that we´ve helped them achieve that through our sevices.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

The definitely the teach in Spain program. Although I myself is already based in Spain, if I lived somewhere else, I´d definitely choose this program because not only is it an experience that can be added to your CV, it´s a lifetime of memories and potentially life changing experience. These are the experiences that guarantees personal and professional growth so I´ll be sure to grab that opportunity if ever.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

So, we don´t just send people abroad, we guide them every step of the way. From the first contact to settling into life in Spain, the focus is to ensure a personal, supportive and life-changing experience. We make sure to create a community between program participants so that they don´t feel like they are going through this journey alone. I was especially proud, and continue to be proud when I see what work goes behind the scenes to make sure that the participants are supported and that is something that I completely appreciate and love being a part of.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

That would be being people-focused or client focused. Success isn’t just about growth metrics or numbers—it’s about impact and staying in touch with the clients and their needs. By building genuine relationships and creating real value in people’s lives, success naturally follows. When your team feels connected to the mission and your clients feel seen and supported, everything else falls into place.
