I was so impressed with the online content and structure of the TEFL curriculum with Maximo Nivel. Historically, I have learned Spanish with Maximo in both Peru and Guatemala, as well as online. I always appreciated the Spanish curriculum and workbook they provide to their Spanish students.

Well, the TEFL curriculum was just as impressive if not more so. The content and online platform were engaging and approachable. The exercises, resources, and tools provided were incredibly helpful. All of this coupled with the opportunity to observe a real live online class, resulted in my feeling super prepared for my teaching week. I was also so happy to have the trainer-debriefs after each lesson during my Practical Teaching week; he had excellent tips that I was able to put into practice the very next lesson.

While I am not looking for work at this moment, they made sure to let me know that my trainer is my "trainer for life" and he will be available when I am job hunting if I need support. He also provided a letter of recommendation informed by my Teaching Practical week, which is very appreciated.

All in all a wonderful experience getting TEFL certified and the price simply can't be beat.

The program was very thorough and consistent with all the support that I needed to learn how to teach to students and to be a teacher. Valuable skill that Maximo Nivel and my mentor Sean made very clear and concise with as much support and necessary information and pertinent detail, providing an extensive library of resources to support my journey. Absolutely loved it! I sincerely enjoyed it and felt encouraged while under a clear cut plan that led me to becoming a successful teacher and a student of English teaching!

Teaching English to non-English speakers is a passion of mine as a retiree. I wanted to learn appropriate skills to be a good volunteer teacher and the Maximo online course was perfect for me. I learned so much and feel that I now can really serve the students that I work with. The course was very thorough and since it is self-paced, I progressed at a pace that fit my schedule. My instructor Sean was extremely supportive and guided me through the material. I really recommend the Maximo course as a great way to become TEFL certified.

Although I did not have the experience of being physically present for my TEFL course, I did not feel as though I lacked anything. Having the ability to complete the course online granted me flexibility of working at my own pace. My instructor Lewis always made himself readily available to meet with me via Zoom, and his communication remained uplifting, transparent and effective. The course content was stimulating because not only did it prepare me to educate others, but it educated me as well. My 5-day online teaching practical was an experience that I will never forget. There is no description that I can give on the level of fulfillment I achieved just from engaging with my students and gradually learning how to improve my lessons and myself for them. I am forever grateful for this course because it has paved a new path for me in life and I cannot wait to embark on my TEFL journey!

I loved and really valued the coursework and materials provided , and the support for my mentor, Sean, was incredible. He was always very prompt in emailing me back with the many, many questions I had throughout the process, and explained everything in detail and with patience . Now, people hear about getting these certificates for cheaper etc. but the value would not even be close to what you get with Maximo. The practical at the end especially. I have no regrets starting my journey with them .

While the coursework and assignments were fairly demanding—especially since I was working full-time alongside the program—I found the content to be thorough and well-structured, ultimately preparing me well for real teaching situations. The course is a great fit for anyone juggling a busy schedule, as it's fully online and self-paced. It took me about 3 to 4 months to complete the modules, followed by a one-week practicum of online teaching, during which an instructor observes your sessions. This one-on-one setup allowed for detailed, personalized feedback on my teaching. Everyone I interacted with, both before enrolling and during the course, was incredibly kind and supportive. Overall, I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to become TEFL certified.

I had a great experience with the Maximo Nivel Online TEFL Course. I completed it in 3 months and I thought the content was engaging and excellent at teaching lesson planning. I enjoyed all of the classroom observation exercises and my favorite parts were writing the grammar paper and the online practical teaching with students from Peru, Costa Rica, and Guatemala.

The biggest reason I would recommend this online course is because you receive an advisor and up to 10 hours of "1 on 1" support. Having a live person to connect to while completing a self-paced online course was EVERYTHING and helped keep me motivated to keep going and finish the course. Also, having Sean there was really invaluable during the practical teaching segment, when I was feeling anxious and needed the most support, coaching, and feedback.
