120-hour Premier Online TEFL Course

This program contains a lot of good information that native English speakers don't usually have to think about, because we just learned it as we learned to read, write and speak. It was good to review the grammar especially, as that is the foundation to understanding English. The other aspects of the course, like lesson layouts, activities, and platforms was helpful as well. As an already certified teacher, some information felt like review, while other information will be helpful in teaching English specifically.

I had been thinking about doing a TEFL for a while and then I broke my leg, which gave me a recovery window where I took this course. I found the videos easy to follow and engaging, yet the final module 'Teaching Online' was all text. Sometimes the text regarding assignments was split between two pages. But honestly there was a lot to these rubrics so I could see why. The actual content was good and informative. Tutor support was helpful and swift and featured great feedback. Only once did I need help to improve an assignment and the feedback led me to do this swiftly and effectively. It's a tricky course from whatever background you come from academically, not to be underestimated. But TEFL.org provide all the tools to qualify with a certificate, which can open opportunities for varied futures. Well worth the investment.

I enjoyed this course and felt it was well done. The material was presented in mostly small segments that made completing one section doable and not overwhelming. It was easy to complete 3 or 4 lessons in one sitting. The material is repeated throughout and ensures the learner has ample opportunities to feel comfortable with the general overview of TEFL. There are also short quizzes and appropriate coursework that must be submitted. I found them very reasonable and they were graded in an adequate amount of time. The certificate also came promptly. I am really glad I took this course!

Even though I had to re do a couple of assignments the course motivated me to keep going.

The course is interesting because it is divers. The assignments are challenging but fun to do. The feedback is very clear. Sometimes i wanted to discuss a bit with my tutor, but that was not an option.
The whole course is set up very clear and logical. Would recommend this course.
It took me a good amount of planning with my work, family and other obligations/activities. But i managed to finish the course in a couple of months. Once i got started, I really enjoyed it and wanted to finish it. I did not know there were as many assignments as there were, so that made me feel a bit defeated. But I managed to do it, planned time for it and wrote everything out and filled it in in the assignment.

I recently completed the 120-hour Premier Online TEFL course and overall, it has been a fantastic experience and a great course!
The core grammar and methodology units are incredibly thorough and I would add, outstanding. The assignment criteria are very strict but very fair, making you think like a precise, communicative language teacher. The tutor feedback on the final written assignments was outstanding and really boosted my confidence.
If there was one area that could be improved on this course, it would be the delivery format of the Online Teaching and Teaching Large Classes modules. These modules relied on extremely dense, text-based reading and quizzes. I felt that these particular modules really needed live video demonstrations of the lessons, showing both the teacher’s and the students’ screen perspectives especially with the Online Teaching Module. This would break up the reading and bring to life the theory that was just learned.
Overall, the support and curriculum are excellent. I’m actually looking at some of the advanced courses, with one in particular that I’d like to complete!
